food was good, but it gave me food poisoning later the same day

The sushi was probably the worst I have had in Hoboken. The rice was hard and there was barely any fish inside the rolls. I would recommend going elsewhere.

Our table was in the corner and it was quite dark. The portion size for the amount we paid wasn’t great. The waitress didn’t listen when we asked that our bill be split.

Service good, fun atmosphere, but talk about shrinkflation (for sushi of all things). 6 tiny wings for $18 and 5 pieces of sushi for a signature roll. Much better sushi in the area for what you get and pay for

Very good
As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to discover their extensive menu, which offers plenty of delicious options.
During my visit, I indulged in the vegetable sushi roll, edamame, and their must-try Asian guacamole, which was a delightful surprise. I also enjoyed the miso soup and house salad-everything was fresh and flavorful.
What impressed me the most was their commitment to customizing dishes according to dietary preferences.
For instance, I was able to enjoy hibachi rice without any fish sauce, meat, or egg, and the vegetable yaki udon was simply delicious.
The attentive staff made sure I had exactly what I wanted, enhancing my dining experience. Whether you're a sushi lover or looking for great vegetarian options, I highly recommend Sushi Lounge in Hoboken
—it's a place worth visiting!

The food was average at best. Would not recommend to eat here tho. The service was also very bad and everyone was rude to us.

The worst experience ever. We went there, and there were only a few tables ahead of us, but it still took 30 minutes to get just one roll and five pieces of sushi.
My girl is allergic to fish roe, but there was no mention of it on the menu. She almost ate it, and when we asked the server, they insisted there wasn’t any. We had to literally point it out for them to finally check with the chef and confirm it. They made a new roll, but that took another 30 minutes. You’d think they would prioritize it, but that didn’t happen.
The service was just as bad. No water refills, no check-ins, nothing. We had to get up and go to the counter every single time we needed something.
To top it off, the sushi wasn’t even good. The quality was below average, definitely not worth the wait.
Good food, good service, fun sushi bar to sit at
Very chill. Great service, good music, espresso martini was on point

Average food at best
Mediocre food.
The sushi quality is terrible. I am not sure what I even ate. The service was abysmal. The portion sizes were very small. I would recommend other sushi places like Avocado over this one. Very disappointing.
Sushi not fresh and artificial. Ordered 4 rolls. Spicy tuna looked neon red, eel asparagus roll barely had any eel and I had to spit something hard out. The salmon did not taste fresh either. Right after we ate our stomach was NOT sitting right either. Would avoid this place at all costs. We are sushi lovers and this place is not it.
Sushi is fresh and delicious.
