Jay is the best host there is - careful, friendly and even knows the frequent customers by name.Needless to say the food is absolutely delicious and plentiful.What I especially love about the place is the calm and quiet atmosphere, where it becomes a nice relaxing ritual for me after a hard day at work.Recently I've visited almost every single evening, hope Jay is not going get tired of seeing me there ?
I love love LOVE Ubu! The food is always delicious, the prices are reasonable (especially for Hoboken) and the staff are so so nice! I believe the person I typically see is the owner, and he’s so kind and friendly. I love it here!!

First time visiting during my lunch break, very cozy and inviting environment. Staff/owner was great, food / prices are fair and Delicious as well. You get more than what you pay for at Ubu which says a lot about the surrounding restaurants since you get so little with how much you pay. Will be coming back more often.
