I went in expecting a quick stop, something sweet, something sticky, something I could eat while thinking about the rest of my day. What I got instead felt like a little ceremony.

The first thing I noticed was the balance. The sweetness wasn’t a blunt hammer; it came in waves, like it was meant to lead you somewhere. The texture had that perfect contrast between rich and light, the kind that makes you keep going back for “one more bite”...

Helpful staff and a nice atmosphere. The babycchino was great, while the coffee was just average. Unfortunately, the frozen blueberry pancakes were a disaster — I had to triple the baking time because they were still raw inside, and even after that they were disappointing. Good place overall, but I would definitely skip the frozen pancakes.

After hearing about The Hive’s cinnamon rolls on Instagram, I had to try to secure one for myself and YES they are worth the hype! My cinnamon roll was warm and sweet (but not too sweet) and was HUGE. Perfect amount of frosting to roll ratio! For the quality, size, and the fact that this is a local cafe, I think that the price was completely worth it. I highly recommend that people try it out!
