At 3:30 I called the Madison with an urgent need to host a party of 50 people at 7:00. Lexie and Brianna were kind, accommodating, and extremely professional. Jake, mica, and Sophia worked their butts off and were amazing servers for our last minute party. I can’t recommend this place and the staff enough!!!

Omg I absolutely love this place 10/10! The staff was accommodating with our order and seating arrangements. Marie, our server was also an absolute sweetheart! Not only was she pleasant but super attentive and extremely helpful when it came to providing us with recommendations! The aesthetics inside were also super cute. The truffle fries are a must get, my soul was touched with the first bite lol They were even able to customize a salad for me because I couldn’t decide between the two. I will definitely be coming back!

Such a disappointment. I was waiting for over 30mins for a waiter. The servers cleaning up the table will ignore me and my family. They gave us no utensils once they brought the food. We had to grab the utensils from the table next door. Didn’t check up on us while eating. They finally came towards the end and I asked for cheese by the time it was served we were done with our meals. Is truly sad these waiters were more invested on socializing amongst themselves than to attend to serve the customers. I had a 1yr with me you think this will have them care a bit more. The lack of attention is beyond words. The only positive is the decor and options of seating area.

My fiance and I are long time regulars. The STAFF and food are amazing. However, like alot of other regulars, we agree the atmosphere has changed a bit. We miss the high tops, the pint size beer glasses, and the great dirty martinis. This place used to make the best dirty martinis but the olives changed recently and now it's a more sour/pickled taste? Please give us the old olives back!!

I'm a big fan of The Madison Bar & Grill. You get consistently good food with solid portions at reasonable prices. The menu has a lot of variety (although another fish dish would be good), beer selection is strong (Guinness & Allagash) and their cocktails are stellar... perhaps the best bartenders in Hoboken. The outdoor seating is great as well! This isn't gourmet food at its finest but it is the place my family and I go to most often when we have family over... when it's late and we are looking for a good meal... when we want drinks and appetizers. My faves are the Chicken Parm sandwich and the Big 'Mic'.

A huge fan of this bar. Live around the corner and attend frequently. Great food, great bartenders, but was very upset recently to walk in and see the high tops were gone. Feels like the entire atmosphere of the bar is completely evaporated.
Not sure why I would give 3 stars to the staff or where you got that I said the food sucks..? Both the staff and food are great. So you just completely made up lol....
Yes, the atmosphere has changed.... for the worse. I have spoke with multiple regulars that have agreed with me. So to say I think about myself much is an insane comment. You clearly cannot take constructive criticism well. Come football season this bar will lose loyal customers.
I ordered two pies: the Buffalo Chicken and the Margherita. I usually don’t love Margherita pizzas, but this one completely changed my mind — it was fresh, flavorful, and honestly amazing.
What really made me want to leave this review though was the Buffalo Chicken pizza. I accidentally forgot to ask for no onions, so that part’s on me — but they were easy to pick off, and the pizza was still incredible. The combination of the buffalo sauce and blue cheese was perfect, and the breaded chicken on top was delicious — crispy and super flavorful.
We sat indoors since it was too hot outside, but the outdoor seating did look really nice. Service was great too — friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Most if the menu they don’t have it, I ordered steak and mashed potatoes, they don’t have the mashed potatoes and change it with rice, the worst rice I’ve ever had it’s so sugary and sticky as well as the steak taste was horrible.
