If you're a coffee shop, you should maybe be good at making coffee. The cold brew at Roost is weak. Not just weak, WEAK. It looks like watered down iced tea and tastes like coffee-flavored water. It's gross, and I've mentioned this to the baristas several times. Their response? An eye roll and "Oh, we just have a really light brew." No, you don't. You're cheaping out and using half the grounds you're supposed to. And I know this, because I've run a company that makes cold brew.
So here we are. Business doesn't listen, customer stops coming and leaves a bad review.

Great spot for a warm cup of Joe on a winter day. The atmosphere is very hip and the music is good too. Its a strange mix of coffee shop and haberdashery but one that really works.

Best latte I have had all year. Ordered a large vanilla latte and it was wonderful, not too hot, smooth, not bitter, mildly sweet and amazing foam which I rarely enjoy. Highly recommended.

Great cafe with a nice vibe. The coffee was good, the pastries ok, and the service top notch. Highly recommended.
My only comment was that they call a pain au chocolate a 'chocolate croissant', but I will let this pass ?

The coffee is really good. Highly recommend the lavender latte with oat milk. Regular cappuccino is also very good. The staff is also very kid friendly.

I like to swing by here and grab a chai latte after a class at Physique 57 when I’m in town with friends.

My usual spot. Prices are a bit higher than Starbucks but you get great quality. A few choices for pastries is available. The only downside of here is they don’t have restrooms.

I’ve walked into this shop at least 4 times over the years and only walked out with a coffee once. This place is so disorganized that it’s overwhelming. When you walk in, there’s always a crowd of people standing right in front of the door, both waiting to order and waiting for their drinks. The last time I came here I had to ask 4 people if they’re waiting to order or waiting for their drink and all of them had different answers. I just kind of awkwardly stood there waiting to see if I could figure it out once they started taking orders, but the baristas working were both making drinks at the same time and not taking any orders from the people waiting. More people kept coming in without any orders being taken, which lead to more confusion about the line. Eventually I just left because this was incredibly overwhelming and I don’t have 30 minutes to wait for a coffee. There are many other coffee shops in the surrounding area that are designed better and have staff that keep things moving faster. I’m not coming back here again.

Oat latte was very solid, and the two baristas were welcoming and kind.
