I absolutely love their iced latte — always delicious, well-balanced, and refreshing. The service was also excellent — friendly, quick, and professional. My favorite coffee spot in the city!

I come to Hoboken for work a few times a year and always have made a b-line to Roost as soon as possible. I had no idea about the recent disgruntled employee drama, but when I got my flat white just now and it was lousy (milk texture is amateur), I decided to look at recent reviews to see if there’s been turnover or something that made them have to hire less experienced folks (nothing against them, I think it’s just what it is). Sure enough, seems to be the case. If the awesome barista I used to chat with about Latte art etc is disgruntled, Ima assume they have a good reason, cuz they were one of those people you can see immediately cares about their craft. But the idk the whole story.
Love this place, great staff that’s always super friendly

Love this coffee shop, especially because it has soy milk!! So hard to find nowadays. Sean, who usually works mornings, makes a good soy flat white/lavender match and has great vibes.

My wife and I were walking by the river to check out the fleet week activities and saw this had good reviews so we wanted to stop in and check it out but we saw these pictures in the window so I’m glad we weren’t able to. Hopefully they can get their act together!

The Roost has the best espresso in Hoboken, and one of the best espressos I've ever had. It is effervescent, expressive, and flavorful. The baristas truly know their craft with perfectly creamy milk foam, and they actually serve it in a glass.

A cozy spot to grab a beverage, snack, or emergency ball cap steps from the Hoboken Terminal Station. More comfortable than the station if you're looking at a long wait for your train, with sofas and large tables for remote work.

Although I did not have anything from this store, as i was looking for a sandwich. the customer service was polite enough to point me so another it's a coffee shop that does.

Came in for a caffeine fix, left with a warm heart and a full belly. My coffee was solid, the chocolate croissant was flaky perfection, and my girlfriend’s Assam tea made her feel the right amount of warm and fuzzy. 10/10 would return—especially if they keep serving caffeine and pastries like tiny edible hugs. My dog wasn’t happy about being left behind.

If you're a coffee shop, you should maybe be good at making coffee. The cold brew at Roost is weak. Not just weak, WEAK. It looks like watered down iced tea and tastes like coffee-flavored water. It's gross, and I've mentioned this to the baristas several times. Their response? An eye roll and "Oh, we just have a really light brew." No, you don't. You're cheaping out and using half the grounds you're supposed to. And I know this, because I've run a company that makes cold brew.
So here we are. Business doesn't listen, customer stops coming and leaves a bad review.
