If you're a coffee shop, you should maybe be good at making coffee. The cold brew at Roost is weak. Not just weak, WEAK. It looks like watered down iced tea and tastes like coffee-flavored water. It's gross, and I've mentioned this to the baristas several times. Their response? An eye roll and "Oh, we just have a really light brew." No, you don't. You're cheaping out and using half the grounds you're supposed to. And I know this, because...
Best latte I have had all year. Ordered a large vanilla latte and it was wonderful, not too hot, smooth, not bitter, mildly sweet and amazing foam which I rarely enjoy. Highly recommended.
Great cafe with a nice vibe. The coffee was good, the pastries ok, and the service top notch. Highly recommended.
My only comment was that they call a pain au chocolate a 'chocolate croissant', but I will let this pass ?
