The Birria tacos are divine.

The stewed cow was our go to place. Our favorite date night or birthday dinner date. The ambiance is nice and they have a cool theme and there is a larger area towards the back if you want a quieter area with a little more space. Unfortunately they changed their menu. We would get the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese every time which they no longer had. Wish they didn't change the menu but still a great spot.

Really went downhill under new management.

This place used to have the best Southern Fried Chicken. It’s no longer on the menu so they get 0 stars from me for being so dumb as to remove it.

There guacamole is AMAZING!! It's so fresh and refreshing at the same time... high quality. They know how to cook a burger. The chef understands the difference between rare, medium rare and so on and so on. The quality of the food overall is high. My party enjoyed the apps and entrees. The decor is simple and the atmosphere is cool; not too loud and you can still catch a great game on the TV while there. Come one, come all too this great place.

Food has always been very solid. Today though when walking home with my food my bag ripped and both meals were spread on the sidewalk. I called in and told them what happened and they told me to come back while they remake the whole meal. Amazing service.

We went to the Stewed Cow last night to meet up to celebrate a friend's birthday. The bar had a lowkey atmosphere and wasn't crowded at all, which was nice! The bartenders were friendly and efficient as well. They had live music and the guy playing was very talented! The drinks were reasonably priced also! All in all it is a good bar to go to if you are looking for a more relaxing night.

We used to absolutely love football Sunday here- a bunch of us would go every week. So sad to have showed up a few Sunday’s ago to a fancy menu (no football menu available). Hope they bring it back one day ?

New owner trying to revamp it. Unsure of the direction. Good place for some buckets on NFL Sunday though

My husband and I used to live across the street from stewed cow and loved it. It recently changed management, and while they said they are changing the menu in the next week, they were still trying to use the original menu. The quality of the food under new management is nothing like how it used to be. We went for brunch, loving their brunch deal for $26, and received very disappointing food. I ordered the chicken and waffles and what I received was incredibly greasy tasteless chicken with two burned freezer waffles, drenched in fake maple syrup. Thankfully the server removed it from our bill, as it was not worth the $26. My husband’s steak and eggs was nothing we couldn’t have made at home. Hopefully the new management figures it out and restores the quality of food. We were saddened by our experience as we used to love this spot.

Brunch was atrocious. Eggo waffles? Burger patty fell apart, steak with BBQ sauce undercooked?? Flys in the back room. I wonder how any chef or kitchen head lets that kind of food leave the kitchen.

We used to LOVE this place. We would always recommend it as an amazing brunch "hidden gem" However service and food quality has gone down. We arrived a little before 11:30 and were told they didn't open till 12:00. only to see another couple go in and get seated. My partner's favorite is the Chicken and Waffles but this time it looked more like an eggo waffle with under seasoned chicken. I get they were under staffed but regardless 3 tables isn't the end of the world. It seemed more like our presence was a bother. Drinks are usually stellar but everything just tasted like cheap mixers. Sadly I think we'll be looking elsewhere for a new spot. Perhaps we'll give it a shot again down the road.

Made a reservation for 8:30 pm on 7/21/23. When we arrived the place was shut down. Lights out, doors locked, crickets chirping. The website shows them open and we made our reservation through OpenTable. We were very upset as we planned to celebrate a milestone birthday. We called the restaurant telephone number and connected to a machine for the restaurant that repeats an offer to speak to someone in "events" but never allows you to speak to an actual person or leave a voicemail. We were needless to say, very disappointed.
