They work quickly while also engaging with their customers positively. I was a little disappointed with my bagel. I ordered an egg and cheese on everything. The bagel itself didn’t have a taste of a bagel. It was more of a pizza dough flavor. The egg and cheese fell apart from the bagel pretty quickly, and it only stayed on one slice of the bagel. I was expecting a better bagel hopefully next time it’s better
They have the best pork roll and cheese bagel sandwiches for your buck. And their bagels are spot on. The staff is also amazing. Want a good hardy breakfast sandwich, go here. You wont be disappointed.
It seems that there are bagel places every few blocks in NJ, yet I drive 30 minutes to pick up a dozen bagels at Holmdel Bagel Market regularly. The bagels are dense and chewy on the inside with a firm crust. The taste is perfect, with the right amount of salt. Service is polite and incredibly speedy. Prices are also very fair. I've visited dozens of bagel joints in New Jersey and this one is my favorite.
