Solid bowl that hit the spot and warmed the body on a cold January afternoon. Pickled mushroom provided a mild tang to offset the richness of the broth, jammy-ish egg, and fatty pork belly. Staff was friendly and readily answered menu questions
Really enjoyed the robata bowl. I got the shrimp one and thought the portion was really small. It tasted good but was overly saucy. Broccoli was delicious and cooked just right. I would definitely come back again
Jozu is the best Asian food in Monmouth County. If you’re looking for the perfect rice bowl, look no further. This place is great. It’s also fresh, amazing, and fast. As an avid foodie and traveler, we are lucky to have this concept available to us in our own backyard. The rice is cooked to perfection.
