Good food and large portions in a very friendly local atmosphere. Where people just drive up socialize and have dinner. Although the food is definitely not yet Tex-Mex, it's lacking Mexican flavor and Texas heat. But I think they'll get it together as soon as they improve their recipes.
Food was OK, menu lacks identity. Are you a Mexican restaurant or what exactly? I chef'd in a texmex restaurant and was still confused by the menu. Almost diner like with some selections. Pricing was fair. Dining room was very tight. Small portion on the guacamole.
Pulling up to the restaurant, you might not think that this place is a gem, but it is. Nice, friendly attentive service. Delicious food and drinks. We had wings, pretzel, fried pickles, cheese steak egg rolls, enchiladas, and a delicious chocolate dessert. Everything was terrific. Can't wait to go back and try more.
