My family and I have visited here a few times and we will NEVER be back. We had a reservation for 5:45 Friday night for 3 of us to celebrate my two year old son’s birthday.

We experienced some of the worst customer service from the hostess that I have ever experienced. Terrible attitude and communicator. Told us we would have no more than two hours at the table since they were SO booked. (OK?) There was no one else waiting when we arrived. Felt discriminatory up front for some unknown reason. Made us wait 10 min past our reserved time when plenty of tables were available, then sat a partial group that walked in after us, then finally sat us next to another party in a small room to feel extra uncomfortable. Other tables were available. The problem hostess name was Alex. She is NOT ready for the public.

Our server didn’t come over for a few minutes so we left. On the way out the same hostess just tells us to “have a great rest of your night!” as we walked out. We will never be back here and will tell everyone we know to go somewhere else.

We went up the street to another restaurant and were treated MUCH better with an on the spot reservation. There are much better places in the area. I can say for sure brick farm tavern is NOT worth dealing with the prices or terrible service.

Wishing them luck with their fully booked Friday nights! Absolutely disappointed and shocked. They can do better.

Kid-friendliness: Absolutely terrible. Not great for kids. They will come off as annoyed if you bring kids in for dinner.

I had a private dining experience here and it was incredible - the food, the atmosphere, the service, everything. They even stayed open a bit later so we could hang out by the fire and have drinks after. Everyone in our group raved about their experience. Zach and Dan were a pleasure to work with - thank you SO much, you made our wedding weekend extra special!

Had brunch with a group of family/friends. The Eggs Benedict with root vegetables was delicious and my Bloody Maria complimented it nicely. The ambiance was lovely and the service was great.

Food is tasty, drinks are even tastier. Staff are all the friendly and helpful. The ambiance is incredible. Beautiful location and grounds. Prices are high, but you pay for what you get. Highly recommend!

Worth every penny. You will not be disappointed in the quality of food or service.

Parking: A small wait and someone left opening a parking spot. Others in my party had no issue finding a spot

Experienced some discrimination here which was super unfortunate because I was looking forward to eating here. Did not feel welcomed at all.

Cute place, excellent and attentive staff, and delicious food. Highly recommend if you're looking for a nicer place to eat that's still affordable. Ordered the "Club Steak and Egg" and it did not disappoint. Steak was cooked perfectly, potato wedges were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the side salad was probably the best I've ever had at a restaurant (dressing was light and the salad wasn't drenched in it). Also, great selection of local beers and wine. Looking forward to eating there again.

The food was great and the atmosphere was really nice. The property was cool to explore and look at the distillery and brewery up the driveway. The service was good, and the server was well informed on the venue.

Made it to one of my favorite restaurants in the country. Brick Farm Tavern in hopewell New Jersey…just in the farm fields on Princeton, the truly farm to table restaurant has been our go to since 2015. We bring the pup and the kids and you sit out back behind the beautiful farmhouse and order gastronomic adventures that can go from meat to fish to everything in between. Tonight it was beautiful burrata salad app house made bread…the pickle platter and charcuterie board were just EPIC. The cocktails are always amazing and tonight was no difference, truly perfect. The sun sets and the nights sets in and out in almost pitch black comes the main course with a train horn in the distance. Three amazing flank steaks that are fantastic and Kate went for the pulled pork. I did the Brussel sprouts and grilled veggies with a salsa chutney and they were perfectly cooked. Jen went the same and a quick try it was a great taste. Some coffee and ice cream and almost 3 hours later what an amazing night. Beautiful surroundings and amazing food that makes a trip up to Princeton epic in all ways! Cheers

Service and atmosphere were great. I was disappointed in the food compared to where it was a few years ago when I went. I know this is specific to me but there were hardly any vegetarian options and 0 vegetarian main courses! Also general salad options on the menu! It used to be great!

GF and I stopped in at the tavern for Sunday brunch in early August 2024. Bottom line up front: first-rate food, drink, and unhurried atmosphere, and attentive, friendly service. She ordered a medium-rare tavern beef burger, I enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich, and we had a couple of Bloody Marias. Everything was delicious and attractively presented. Portions were so large that it was our only meal of the day. I would return to Brick Farm Tavern in a heartbeat. I will recommend it highly to others.
