Great breakfast and lunch spot. A staple when we’re visiting family. On this occasion we had a 20 minute wait and some of our party waited outside and two of us ordered coffee from the counter while we waited. Definitely a little cramped by the coffee counter with a door that opens into the restaurant and the hostess stand nearby leading to a bit of confusion and bumping into one another along patrons. But very tasty seasonal latte. Table service was good, we did receive a hot drink instead of an iced drink and two people other than our server came over to clarify things about our order so think we may have had a more inexperienced one but not a deterrent to going back again. Such a cute, feel good spot

Food was good. However, I went with friends and right after paying the bill and within a few minutes of finishing my coffee we were asked to leave in order to use the table. I understand asking for the table if we were squatting there for more than 20 minutes after paying but today was not the case as the owner/manager kicked us out within 5 minutes of finishing our drinks and 10 minutes of paying the bill. it was the most awkward experience. I have never been personally escorted out of a restaurant. never again. i refuse to go back here. maybe next time treat your patrons with respect.

The menu is no where as unique as the staff which is artistic , theatrical, and in formation. The place is relaxing and the music depending on what day is eclectic. The Brit behind the counter will call you love and The younger staff will introduce their style in their shy way. Wait am I in Greenwich Village or Hopewell. Regardless the flavor of the staff is much tastier than the food but the food is as good as it gets.

This place is amazing!!!!! I would recommend brunch any-day! The energy from the Ashy is what keeps making us come back. Best brunch in Hopewell!! Food is great! Worth the drive if you are in Ewing or surrounding cities!!

Stopped by Aunt Chubby’s while passing thru town on a late Sunday morning and it didn’t disappoint! Charming neighborhood eatery with a good breakfast menu. Service was quick and staff were friendly and gave off a cool small-town vibe! Started with the Caramelized Onion & Goat Cheese Tart which was super delish followed by the classic Chubby’s breakfast! Wife had the oatmeal bowl with multiple toppings! We were starving and forgot to take pics but definitely worth coming back to if in the area again!
