I used to live next door in Ringoes. Would stop by regularly for beers after a bicycle ride or hike in the Sourland Mountains. Good beers, never ate the food. Cute bartender, as I recall. This place is a gem. Threw a dart at a map looking for a spot to meet a friend and had no clue what we were in for based on the reviews, but it exceeded expectations. When we arrived, the kitchen had just closed, but Kathy fired everything back up for us to have some burgers and fries. This is the place of the nostalgic bar that we used to know and love before covid and chain restaurants. I visited for the first time today and fell in love with the atmosphere immediately. Kathy was kind, friendly, and her hospitality was second to none. The food was great and I could not have enjoyed my experience any more than I had.
