The owner is friendly and offers great customer service. However, there is a severe lack of hygiene: the tables are oily, the shop is smelly, and the plates are dirty. We found fried fish items to be randomly kept in the open and will probably be served to incoming customers upon simply reheating. This is the best Bengali vegetarian food I’ve had. I tried several dishes, and every single one was mouthwatering — all at a very reasonable price. It truly felt like homemade Kolkata food.
Special thanks to Shahed bhai for the exceptional hospitality. The way he personally takes care of each customer is remarkable.
Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Bengali flavors!

The service was really good . Everyone was really friendly and we didn’t have to wait for food long either.
We ordered, beef kala bhoona, mutton rezala, shrimp bhoona and dried fish bhorta! Every item was amazing. Specially the shutki bhorta was out of this world! I even ordered my dinner again the same day from here!
