Had Shing Loon for the first time Monday and did not like it. We were up from Sc for graduations and since we don’t have good Chinese food in Sc we were looking forward to it. Wow were we disappointed. Hot n sour soup had a weird taste and lacking substance, house special mei fun was very salty, and no flavor. Did have good amount of meat and shrimp. Egg rolls were 2 out of 5. Shrimp rolls had 1 tiny bay shrimp and below average also. Service was typical. I would not...
I only order from them on Monday as my regular place is closed and they are close by..The food is good but the fried rice is always clumsy and watery..I mentioned it to the girls but she just nodded her head .I think they just steam it,
It's impossible to find good Chinese in Jackson, and we've tried them all. We didn't feel like driving far, and It's been a while since we have been to Shing Loon, so we figured we would try again. We ordered the General Tsos and it was just okay, the white rice was pasty.
