Burrito Bowl Mexican Grill

I purposely avoid going to this location because they skimp out on ingredients. Instead of giving a full 1.5-2 scoops of meat, they'll barely give 1 scoop + 2 pieces. I literally watched her shake the extra couple pieces off the spoon instead of giving them to me. When I said something, she gave me another scoop, but charged me for extra. Just another place turning into chipotle by overcharging and giving less and less food. So I get a regular sized bowl that I'd get from their Jamesburg store but now im paying $20. No thanks... It's already bad enough they charge you for guacamole and also give you half the discount ($5 instead of $10) when you redeem your points compared to their better Jamesburg location.

I just ordered for the first time (called twice no answer) and the soft tacos were completely plain. No lettuce, tomato, sour cream etc. $14.99 for your plain soft taco with steak??? Taco Bell tacos are better at this point...

Had lunch at Burrito bowl. Got the taco bowl with chicken and the food was very good.

ordered a burrito bowl today when this vendor (burrito bowl) came to our Amazon building (EWR4 in Robbinsville). Unfortunately, the quality wasn’t great.
The rice had large clumps , which made it cold and not all that enjoyable to eat. I’m not sure if that’s intentional, but other their Mexican style vendors that come to our building usually have loose, well-seasoned rice without clumping.
The biggest issue was the temperature. The food wasn’t hot when served. It wasn’t ice cold, but there were noticeable cold spots throughout the bowl. Other vendors that come here typically serve their food warm and much more consistent in temperature.
For the price, the flavor and overall quality just didn’t match what we usually get from other burrito or taco vendors. It felt overpriced for what was served.
I’ll likely be comparing it to other vendors that come here because the difference in flavor, texture, and temperature is pretty noticeable. I post the comparison video with both vendors are in the building at the same time

The food is pretty flavorful but $6.99 caramel churros that’s actually one churro cute into 3 pieces. I paid $15 for tofu burrito, and $15.50 for a crunch wrap. All items seem overpriced

The food quality was subpar at best. Tough, chewy, and overcooked steak. Hard, overcooked rice, and very old guacamole. Have gone here on multiple occasions but need to take it out of the rotation as it’s gone very down hill
