I recently visited burrito bowl, Brunswick plaza for the first time and ordered a veggie burrito bowl, priced at $13.99, comparable to other franchises. However, I was disappointed with the portion size, which was notably smaller than expected and smaller than other establishments. Additionally, when adding queso to my nachos, the serving was as small as a tablespoon, insufficient for the dish. So, I asked to put little extra., I was charged extra and total I paid $ 17. 55 for one veggie (meatless) bowl. Given these factors, I would prefer to dine at other establishments Mexican restaurants that offer better value for the price.

The Burrito Bowls is a absolute disgrace. Cold, flavorless garbage that's not worth the effort of chewing. EWR4 should be ashamed to associate with such a terrible vendor. Fooda clearly doesn't care about their customers or quality food. It's like they're scraping the bottom of the barrel for restaurants to service this location.
Thank you for your reply, but "high quality" doesn’t necessarily mean the food is seasoned well. I’ve noticed a few other reviews that share similar concerns, so it’s not just a one-off issue. I still believe your restaurant ranks at the bottom of the barrel for Fooda.
Let’s be honest—there aren’t many vendors willing to work with that company, which might explain why standards feel so low. And seriously, who wants clumpy, sticky rice in their burrito or bowl? It’s disappointing and takes away from what could be a much better experience.
Hopefully, you’ll take these critiques into consideration to improve your offerings.

Have been eating here and doing takeout once in a while. Lately the quantity and quality of food is sub par, compared to when it started. Meat is not flavorful at all. You could do better elsewhere.

I eat here multiple times a week (lunch at work) and the flavor/consistency is unmatched. Their carnitas is amazing!!! Highly recommended :)
Quantity of food in the bowl is sub par compared to this place's competition. Food quality is average. Not satisfied with the experience. Will never visit this place again and urge others to pass on this place. Get better value for your money . Don't go here .

I’ve been here a few times. When I initially started coming here the meat was very flavorful and the bowls/burritos were very well packed. I went here a few days ago and they were very stingy and light with the spoons of food. Also the meat didn’t taste as flavorful as it normally does. It appears the quality has gone down. Also I had to repeat myself multiple times because the server didn’t understand what I was saying very well. Language barrier I suppose.

I’ve eaten here a bunch of times. For the most part, it’s really good and I think the meat is more flavorful than the other places like Chipotle and Bubbakoos. It seems to be a little more spicier and have a little more kick. Just recently I’ve had a bad service experience.
I’m a simple guy when it comes to what I want to eat here. I just want a bowl with white rice, meat and cheese/xtra cheese. That’s it! No other toppings/add-ins whatever.
So I stop in this week during lunch time to get a bowl. Asked for white rice, got 2 very light spoon fulls so I asked for some more. Next I got my protein and then asked for another meat and said I’ll pay double. Next I said…..all I want is just cheese, extra cheese please and that’s it, nothing else. The woman grabbed a very light handful that just barely made a coating on the bowl and started pushing the bowl to the register. I asked her again for more cheese and said I asked for extra cheese please. I got a tiny 3 finger pinch of cheese that was just sprinkled on a portion of the bowl. So I asked again for more cheese. Next I got a stare and a head shake. Again, she grabbed another 3 finger little pinch. I then said can I actually get a lot more cheese than that, like a nice handful? I don’t want any other toppings for my bowl, just extra cheese. I got another head shake and 3 finger little pinch. So I asked for more cheese again and I got a stare and she was shaking her head at me. At this point, I’m also getting irritated or annoyed myself. Because I’m asking for a handful of cheese and not a little pinch every time. So I told her again, after I got another head shake directed to me, that all I want is a good amount of extra cheese, I asked for a handful but you keep giving me little pinch instead. She then proceeded to give me another little pinch of cheese. At this point I’m like, I’m done! I paid for the bowl and left. Normally I tip and certainly did not this time. My last visit I had the same person serve me as well and same experience, had to keep asking a bunch of times for more cheese please. Minus the eye roll and head shakes.
I know other places like I mentioned, Chipotle, etc. You’re allowed to ask for as much rice, cheese and other toppings (that aren’t the extra charge toppings) to fill your bowl. That it’s considered free with the purchase of your bowl. Is this place different that you can’t ask for extra cheese? Or other toppings which I don’t want to begin with and my bowl is small enough as it and not like these huge bowls you see everyone else get and on videos you see over social media. If so, then I’ll stick to Chipotle and bubbakoos where I have no issues getting extra cheese.
Apparently I was a burden by asking for more.
Oh, I do have to say that the meat that is usually very delicious and flavorful, was very bland that day. My friend also said the same thing, that it was pretty tasteless and the worst bowl he’s had from there. So that made the experience more disappointing.

The crunchito grande is their version of the crunchwrap, and it delivers, too.
Pick your protein, and then they add the crunchy hard shell with the toppings you like.
