Simply put, Charley's is the best outdoor hangout spot on/around Lake Hopatcong! Rented the Game Room Bar for a social with family and friends, and I honestly can't recommend it enough! The food was hot and delicious, awesome drinks, fantastic live music, yard games, and first-class people! The team of Amanda Lear, Amanda ODonnell Braico and Andrea were outstanding! Provided excellent professional, friendly service to make sure all of my guests were comfortable the entire evening. Lots of menu options to choose from on the catering menu (the wings are a must!) as well as flexible bar pricing packages to fit any occasion. It's truly a welcoming place that is always on my short list of options for a quick cold one, lunch or heck the whole evening! I'm already looking forward to the next Game Room social! Thank you again Team Charley's!!!

Visited to go on a date with my wife. We were welcomed at the door and the rest of the service was great. Food came out fast, hot, and delicious. Drinks were good and more important was asked if I wanted a refill quickly. Thank you for the good time!

We ( a bunch of friends) had a bad experience at the end of the night. All was going well until it was Not!!! It was when we got our checks. We all paid, then we were followed out of the bar by an assistant manger along with a bouncer. LoL..Asking if we had a problem with our service. She began to become loud at one of the guys saying his tip was not Big enough.......this has never happened to me ever before...what a JOKE!! And how rude. Well you can't take the Dive out of a Dive Bar.

Amanda b is not only the best bartender in New Jersey. She’s one of the few bartenders that has no problem making friends with everyone in the bar. You can come to this place for a night out, bite to eat, or even to cry. Charlyes is a place you come to have a great night and leave making great friends.
The service is horrible. Tried to eat there outside, the waitress walked by over and over ignoring us. Had to go in to get a drink myself. Wanted to order food but continued to be ignored by everyone who worked there, not just a bad server. Horrible customer service all around. Not going back!
