Hey I have to tell you about this fantastic Dominican food place in Jersey City. Seriously, it's one of the best. Been there a bunch for lunch, they don't skimp on the portions. The ladies running it super sweet too. Definitely worth dropping by when you get a chance. The food and music will totally win you over, promise.

We have been coming to this place since moving to the area three years ago primarily because of the food, despite consistent issues with the service for non-Spanish speakers. However, our recent visit was incredibly disappointing and uncomfortable.
After ordering our food and when paying by card, we were shocked when a staff member aggressively presented the card machine in front of us, demanding a tip. The machine offered no option to skip or adjust the gratuity, setting a minimum of 15%. This approach was not only off-putting but also felt disrespectful given the service quality.
Overall, our experience left us deeply disappointed. We might still come back for the food because we really like it, but we will definitely pay by cash from now on to avoid this kind of unacceptable behavior.
