Ambassador Fish and Chicken

I placed an order 3/8/25 24 piece chicken and on the chicken have feathers on it I know if I ordered again to check it before I leave I was very disappointed

Their chicken wings are phenomenal. I'm thinking when they permanently closed their restaurant on Central Avenue in East Orange they should've moved it to The City of Paterson, NJ.

I placed an order yesterday and was beyond disappointed. I ordered 2 orders of the buffalo wings, one with fries and the other with onion rings, a small cole slaw, and red velvet cheesecake. The chicken was very salty and the pieces were so small. The fries were ok and the onion rings were pretty good. The cole slaw swam in a pool of mayo dressing which was unfavorable. Now on to the worst part of the order, the desert. I asked for red velvet cheesecake and they gave me strawberry cake. If they ran out, they should’ve at least told me and offered a refund or asked if I would’ve liked something else. I noticed after I left the restaurant. The cake had a small layer of ice on it in one area and it was liquid at the bottom of the container. I touched the cake and it was wet like someone poured water on it. I’m thinking that the cake was frozen and unthawed so liquid was on the cake from unthawing?? I threw the entire cake in the garbage as it wasn’t edible. This is beyond unacceptable. I’m really appalled that this quality of food is being served to patrons. This place was good when it opened years ago and I see it has taken a turn for the worse. I haven’t been in years since I no longer live in the area and thought to grab dinner for my friend and I as I was visiting her. I wish I would’ve ordered from somewhere else.

Went there on 09/22/2024 and got food and a slice of cake. The cake was stale, and hard. Paid $6 for something that ended up in the garbage.

Delicious chicken wings, we passed by several other Ambassadors to get to this location.??

On 8/5/24 I bought a catfish sandwich and was horrified to open the box and find MOLDY BREAD. 3 weeks ago a friend made a FB post warning us not to eat from there. I never again will.

I had the chicken wings and the catfish. They were fantastic.

I like the food here, but I think it's totally ridiculous that I can not order and pre-pay online in order to pick up my food, because I haven't met the minimum amount of $12. Their wait times for pickup orders is 30-45 minutes, so I have to either buy more food online that I don't want, or I have to literally go to the restaurant to order and then wait around for up to 45 minutes for my food. That is not a good business model, and they have missed multiple opportunities for me to buy from them when I'm hungry and passing through the area. I wonder how many people pass on this restaurant because of that. SMH.

I'm not sure if it's a store tradition, but I should have known that you were going to serve me cold mac and cheese. Overall, the fried whiting dinner was excellent, and the fried shrimp dinner was passable but a little overcooked. Nevertheless, I gave you guys four stars without a doubt.

Food is amazing, actually the best tenders I’ve had. Sadly it takes foreeeever so only come here if you have time. Spent 30 minutes of my break waiting when it wasn’t even busy ?
