Let me start by saying that I eat Artichokes all the time. It used to be my favorite pizza shop. Unfortunately the quality lately has been inconsistent. It all depends on who is making the pie. The past two Fridays (4/5 & 3/29) I have ordered pies and they have been awful. They are undercooked, floppy, have far too much sauce, sliding cheese, and are of just poor quality. See attached photo.I should mention, that when the original pizza chef is there the pies are immaculate every time. Perfect under carriage, great sauce and cheese ratio, and a crispy crust. I hope that the original pizza chef can teach the other ppl here how to make a proper pie so that this problem discontinues and I can go back to enjoying the pizza here.I'm happy to revisit & revise this review when this problem discontinues. But as of today, artichokes is a terribly inconsistent place to order pizza.

Consistent taste and service for so many years, this pizza place will always be my go to place if I dont want to break my head in search of a new pizzeria in town.Other than the yummiest signature Artichoke slice, the vodka slice is very delicious. The margaritta slice is good and has fresh basile on it.

It was a pleasant surprise to know Jersey City has an Artichoke Basille's Pizza. We are a huge fan. At 1:30 am is one of the best time of the night to crave a slice or 2z I was surprised how short the line was to order. Ambiance was pleasant. Just enough room to for your pizza inside by the counter. It was so good. I will bring a pie home when I'm in the area again. Highly recommend!!

Every time I come here is a complete mess. Orders takes too long. Kitchen employees are running and cursing each other.Please hire someone more competent for taking the order in the front of the store.

Overrated and overpriced pizza restaurant. Was so looking forward to their opening their “chain” in NJ but it disappoints every time we tried it. Slow down and make good food instead of trying to get rich on
I received a cold pizza at my home. When I called back to the pizzeria, they said that they couldn't do anything about it. It was one of the worst experiences that I had.
I absolutely love their artichoke pizza and garlic knots! And let me tell you, their sauce is to die for. The prices? So reasonable, you won't believe it. And the best part? The food is always fresh. It's the perfect spot for grabbing some takeout. Oh, and don't even get me started on their quiche and meatball pizza. They're decent, but as a veggie person, I wish they had more options for me. Nonetheless, it's still a nice place to satisfy your cravings.Vegetarian options: Artichoke pizza, garlic knots, veggie pizza, cheese pizza

Pizza is probably my favorite food in the world. The pizza here is some of the best I've ever had. The crab pizza is so tasty. Don't walk down Newark Avenue in Jersey City without stopping by here.
