Best Italian American restaurant in Jersey City hands down. Old school cooking in a warm friendly cozy dining room. It's like a trip to grandma's.

So cozy, reasonably priced but more importantly the food is superb. We got the homemade ravioli with vodka sauce and chicken parm. Delicious and one of the best old school Italian places I’ve ever been to.

Food was comically bad, like burnt patties with water sauce level bad.

What a great place. The food was fantastic though certainly not perfect. I had the basa oreganata and stuffed rigatoni. I also tasted the broccoli rabe, special chicken (which was like a marsala), fried calamari, and the arugula salad. The basa was sublime: juicy and delicious sauce. Also excellent was the calamari, rigatoni, and arugula salad. The chicken was delicious and rich though too salty (and I LOVE salt). Also the portions were huge. The atmosphere is really cozy though the place got a bit noisy. And the prices were extremely reasonable.

This place is amazing. Best Italian food in jersey city in my opinion. It's no frills and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely old school.

I'm a grad student and had a crazy schedule. I was late to my zoom class and as soon as I walked in the waitress was kind enough to log me onto their WIFI. It is a restaurant, but I felt like she made a significant effort to serve me and let me work with minimal interruption.

Food was delicious and the espresso was needed! I will definitely be back again! It has a Cheers feeling to it, as though everyone here is a regular and it is so cozy. So happy I landed here when I was rushing to find WIFI!

Service was good and the old world atmosphere is nice, but the food was mediocre and overpriced. Our rice ball was hard as a rock—could not cut through portions of it. The rest of the food was fine, but nothing special, especially for the price. Also note that there are no high chairs available.
