Quick PATH or ferry ride from Manhattan, and pleasant stroll along the waterfront will bring you to this excellent restaurant looking east toward the city. Very popular with reservations strongly recommended. The service was very good. And the food was excellent; with options for all eating preferences.
Such a beautiful spot! Nothing missed — each dish was very good, and some dishes really exceeded expectations.
The pecorino zeppole were so soft and perfect with the prosciutto. The ricotta gnocchi with sausage bolognese was so simple but so perfect. The day boat scallops were incredible, it altered my brain chemistry
I want to go back and try everything on the menu
My first mother's day was amazing, and this place was part of it.
They out here being good af, on god. Foods bussin, drinks bussin, vibes 10/10. My mom is also a fan.
Excellent service plus spectacular views! Must come back . The pork chops were delicious
Service can be more patient; food is great.
Battello in Jersey City offers a refined waterfront dining experience with sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline. I ordered the lobster roll, and it was absolutely spot on generously filled with fresh, sweet lobster, lightly tossed in a bright lemon aioli, and served on a warm, toasted brioche bun. What truly took the dish to the next level, though, were the herbed Parmigiano fries. Crisp, golden, and tossed in fragrant herbs and shaved Parmigiano, they were addictive and paired perfectly with the roll.
Had a great anniversary meal here. Felt welcome. Loved each course.
Chef Giancarlo is a star ! Servers are top tier in hospitality.
Good ambience, decent cocktails and excellent service.

The service and staff were excellent, could use more chicken options
The food was so delicious! The service was great and the location is amazing
Amazing service, beautiful spot with outstanding views. Food was hit or miss. Some things were great like the burrata but the cacio e pepe was too watery and the sauce split. Definitely not worth the 30 dollars charged for it.
Was here for a wedding last week. Not only was the atmosphere absolutely gorgeous, but the food was excellent as well...and not just the cocktail hour, but the meal was delicious as well. The backdrop of the city across the water is an added bonus.
Delicious food, great staff, wonderful atmosphere and views of NYC. Highly recommend the squid ink torchio.
