It was our first time at Battello’s and I doubt it will be our last! While we expected to be impressed with the setting and NYC views, we did not expect that the quality of every dish was so good. We shared the seasonal Stone Fruit salad and it was so fresh, sweet & tangy. The Pork Chop entree was perfectly prepared and served with mashed potatoes and broccoli rabe. And, the Bronzino was so delicious and delicate…absolutely mouthwatering. We were too full for dessert, but we did enjoy a complimentary ‘cookie’ and two glasses of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. Our server was friendly and professional, too. For a Monday, it was really lively, which is always a good sign when a restaurant is so popular. We’ll definitely be back and bring some friends next time.

Beautifully designed space in Jersey City, in Hasimus Cove, at amazing location (Newport Yacht Club & Marina), with a magnificant view. Eating and drinking complex situated on Hudson, on 502 Washington Blvd. They organize weddings, functions, private events. Battello has a wine cellar, a fully private space for up to 16 guests, lounge for 100 guests (150 standing), and the main dining room with a capacity of 200 (450 for a cocktail-style reception). They have lunch, brunch, and dinner menu. Very rich wine list, with wines mostly from USA, Italy, and France. Prices are a little bit high, but you get a fantastic experience, let's be honest. We shared a stone fruit salad, followed by day boat sea scallops and spaghetti cacio e pepe. Small portions for my taste. A bottle of Greco di Tufo from 2024 goes w/o saying. And a chocolate cake with hazelnuts and passion fruit as our dessert. For a total of $200. Decent service. Definately worth visiting. Very nice experience with a beautiful view. Parking available. Restrooms in the mezaninne. Path is just a few steps from the venue (Newport station).

I photographed a beautiful wedding here and I have to say, not only was the space absolutely beautiful, but the food was to die for! The bar was jumping and the espresso martinis at the end of the night had that perfect foam (iykyk).

If you don’t have a suv with very good clearance be very careful driving into this place. Your car WILL BE damaged because the speed breakers installed are high enough to damage your cars underside even if you go ultra slow. I have a bmw 328 and I literally tried to go through these near standstill and it still scraped and damaged my underside. When I called the restaurant to complain, they say they are not responsible since the area belongs to Newport marina. But 99% of people entering and parking in this area go inside for battello and not to use the marina!
If you want to damage your car underside go ahead and enter at your own peril.
