Jessica makes great matcha
Very nice coffee place, awesome croissants! Also extremely conveniently located. I have friends living at the building and I can visit them without bugging them at their place!
Great food, love their almond croissant
It’s a really great location. Baristas care about the craft. Coffee is solid. Pastries are great! Patrons should be more mindful of others that want to sit but that’s not something unique to Bleu. Also, it would be great if we had an expedited line for those that just want Drip/coldbrew/espresso.
Kind owner+baristas, nice vibe to sit down, and good coffee and matcha latte!
Delicious coffee and great space to work from home!
Coffee is the best and love the croissant over there!!

TLDR: Worst hot coffee I've had in Jersey City, but friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Get the cold brew or iced coffee; something that can't be burnt.
I don't want this to be all bad so I'll start by saying the bakery window looked good and smelled incredible. I didn't get anything, but if you're into that then give this place a shot.
Went to try this place on a Sunday morning to mix up my usual coffee spots (Bwe, Maggie's Farm). Place is nice and clean, pretty chill, seems like a nice place to study, read, or get some work done outside the house. Staff are generally helpful and friendly.
The coffee however was undrinkable. I got maybe the most expensive thing on the menu, a Jamaican Bleu Mountain pour over at $9. The cup was completely covered in spilled coffee, still dripping when I picked it up. Fine; just means he topped me off and nothing a few napkins can't fix.
Coffee itself was super hot, which was the first flag as pour overs are not meant to be prepared with 100 Celsius water. Took a sip and it tasted like someone blended burnt popcorn in water, basically the grounds were scalded. Really unfortunate as the beans are not cheap. I took a couple sips and just threw the rest away because it was too burnt to drink.
