This place was legendary before the pandemic. They did pieces of chicken, the BEST egg and cheese on a biscuit in New Jersey. And now they’ve cut back to a knockoff of Stickeys where they only do tenders. Smfh. Talk about killing your business model. It’s more sad than anything.
I haven’t visited in a while since my favorites—the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Bone-in Chicken—were taken off the menu. Today I tried the chicken tenders, since that’s the only option left. I’ve never been a fan of tenders because I don’t like chicken breast, and I really don’t want to distract from my main point of asking for a menu update—but I have to admit these were the juiciest, crispiest tenders I’ve ever had. The sauce was spot on too.

Bobwhite consistently fires on all eight cylinders! That's an internal combustion reference for you young'uns. It means 💯 all the times. Their sandwiches are good but where they really shine is the fried chicken, just delicious. And it's that way every single visit. I know, I've been eating here for years. The counter staff have always been very friendly as well and they're also nice to the delivery guys, which says a lot. So, to sum up, fantastic food...
