So, listen, firstly, I love this place. I appreciate the fresh healthy vegan meals available so close to home. For the most part, the food is on point and really delicious, whether or not you're vegan. Everything is fresh and beautiful and well-prepared. However, I have to agree with another reviewer regarding the salt level in some of your dishes. If I'm not mistaken, I think it's particularly the ones with BBQ sauce that could use a lot less salt - I'd honestly cut it in half. Pink Himalayan salt contains the same amount of sodium per gram as table salt. If you're someone who has higher BP, you will feel it after eating some of the BBQ items. The dishes are fresh and delicious, and don't need salt to enhance or hide anything, so a little less would go a long way. Thank you for reading.

This is the only Vegan Restaurant that uses healthy ingredients such as avocado oil in place of canola oil vegetables, soy oil and sunflower oil. They use fresh veggies and focus on your dietary concerns. I've been a Conscious eater since 1997 and have eaten at most vegan places and they did not focus on health first. They are not supposed to be using soy oil, vegetable oil or canola oil, they are not good for your body, arteries nor overall health. Short cuts for profit is what is taking place at these so called vegan establishments and they are lucky I don't call them out. Eater beware. I am not getting paid to congradulate this place, I commend them for great food, and proper ingredients that makes conscious eating different from any other food source you intake. I will keep going back for more healthy food that don't do harm to my body.

I've been on their meal plan for several weeks now and it's been transformative. The meals are super filling and satisfying, delicious and my chronic acid reflux seems to have disappeared. Sam, the owner, goes above and beyond to answer questions, etc. The 2nd time I went to pick up my meals, the woman at the counter addressed me by name! This has been exactly the kind of experience I love about small businesses ❤️ (though I feel bad that Sam seems to answer every text and email)

Every time I order and grab food it's fresh hot and delicious. Especially most plant based meals are few and far between. They have the best in town.

This place is a place I’ve visited for years now. The food is 10/10 only topped by the amazing people and personalities that work there. As a non vegan who has brought other non vegans to try this food I almost weekly choose this places meals like chckn parm, sausage and peppers, Mac salads etc over all other options available. The food is made on the spot-literally and couldn’t be tastier or healthier. I’d reccomend and encourage any any everyone to support these people. 10/10 experience!

Breakfast burrito 🌯 so good..
Everything was incredible. The BBQ and Gyro are to die for though.
Friendly faces behind the counter.
Took a minute but it was worth the wait.
Hope they stick around.

Fantastic vegan takeout restaurant right around the corner from white eagle hall. I had the chickpea sandwich and a cookie and loved both. My friend had the barbecue jerk sandwich, both of which tasted incredible.

The lobby only had two tables to eat at but for a pretty reasonable price (including sides) it's well worth it's money as a high quality takeout restaurant. Can't wait to come back and try something new!

In the ocean of greasy gastropubs and burger joints that is Jersey City, there sits an oasis of delicious vegan food called Power Plant Kitchen. Power Plant is by far my favorite place in the area to get take out, and I'm not even a vegetarian. It's healthy enough without sacrificing flavor, and has plenty of great options. I personally love the BBQ seitan. Soooo thankful to have this spot as an option.

Great, flavorful vegan food. Prices were good, and the lady at the counter was polite and had a good attitude.
I assume it's mostly for takeout, as there was only one small table, with two stools.
