Had high hope given the shortage of bagels in the neighborhood. Ordered 2 omelettes: both had paper thin egg layer that’s completely over cooked. Not sure what’s the rationale is to skim on egg for an omelette… The smoked salmon omelette is a paper thin egg shell wrapped around a giant chunk of cream cheese with tiny amount of salmon. For $15, one only gets a tiny paper thin omelette and nothing else (another $4 for even potato, no bread of any sort).

Manager is respectful and straight forward to all employees . He is old school he complements hard workers for those who earn it. His priority is customer care. If your lazy and a complainer who freeloads yet job isn’t being done he will let you know it and it won’t be pleasant place to work so I would suggest you apply elsewhere if your any of those negative things mentioned. I appreciate his respect and family friendly environment he places in the work place and hope it will be a long journey.

Zero stars if I could give it. The owner does not pay his workers and has other failed businesses because of failing to pay employees their wages. Bread stone hasn't even opened yet and people are giving 5 stars to a place with no employees. I should know because he tried to employ someone I know to be a chef de Cuisine there and did not want to pay him when it was time to pay. He takes advantage of he workers and uses them to make the place better and instead of paying them, he fires them. He doesn't let them fill out tax forms so he doesn't have to pay them. He steals menu recipes from other restaurants and claims they're his. This place is a failure just like the owner. Do not eat there.
The pastries and the coffee are delicious. The manager and the workers are very nice.
