Ambience is very nice. There was someone playing Bollywood instrumental music, which was very soothing. I had matcha with oat milk, I asked for no ice but they served it not cold. Taste was fine.
Too much plastic plates and cups . Music too loud unfortunately.

Delicious coffee and delicious matcha. I have bought avocado toast several times, but I find it inconvenient to eat it because the tomatoes and other vegetables are cut very finely, and the coarse bread is served with plastic cutlery that can break haha. I like the atmosphere in the establishment, the service staff is friendly.

Great location. Good coffee. Okay-ish food. My main gripe with the food is their bread/ croissant always feels like it’s a day old and warmed up in a microwave. You know, slightly spongy and not quite fresh. Ruins most sandwiches I’ve had here sadly.

Good location, beatiful decor, friendly and helpful staff. Their coffee was good, but the best must be their bear waffle!

This is my first time at bwè cafe, and it was incredible.
I got an iced chai latte and a bwèkfast sandwich.
The sandwich was extremely delicious, and the sweet sriracha dip that came along with it was a perfect combination. Genuinely cannot recommend this enough, it was one of the best things I’ve eaten.
The iced chai latte was also good, and cheaper compared to other places for the same size.
The atmosphere is cozy, but unfortunately I had to take my meal to go. However, the way they packed my sandwich was extremely well, and it remained very hot for long time.
I would definitely recommend this cafe, especially the bwèkfast sandwich!

Amazing cafe for work and great drinks and food. Must try the blueberry latte. Their breakfast sandwich is also amazing and the lady at the counter is also amazing!

Used to be a wonderful place to get a latte. The guy before me ordered a cappuccino and it looked fine but the latte I got looks and tastes like it was spewed from a vending machine (photo of drink without any mixing, that's how it is). Bitter Expresso and was extra hot (which was not requested).
Avocado toast was good but the bread crust was too hard for human consumption. Like I couldn't bite it nor break with the plastic cutlery
Best coffee in the area. Even the simple brewed coffee is superb.

Overall a great place, nice low key staff, good food. Atmosphere is perfect except for one thing - the music sometimes blares as though you’re in a night club and this can be quite inconsistent - it doesn’t seem like there’s any kind of policy on this. It’s especially bad if you’re sitting by the window as there’s a speaker right above. This really kills the atmosphere and can be very intrusive even if you try and block it out with headphones. Bwe, we love you but please fix this!

Unfortunately not Haitian owned or operated; it is called "Bwe Kafe" because their brand is post-earthquake Haitian philanthropy. I came because I expected to see Haitian people or culture, and was instead disappointingly met with Apple Store aesthetics. That being said, the coffee was good & reasonably priced. Comfortable seating options.

Our go-to café in Newport!
We come to Bwe Café all the time, and it’s easily one of our favorite spots in the area. The staff is always lovely, making the experience even better.
The coffee is delicious, and the food is just as great—we especially love the Bwekfast sandwich and the chocolate and almond croissants. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax or get some work done.
Highly recommend!

Cozy place with a few sitting options to choose from. We went there on Sunday afternoon (around 4pm) and we were able to sit without having to wait.
We had Latte and Matcha Loaf. The Loaf was really good (I am a big fan of Matcha so maybe I am biased). Maybe a bit too sweet for my taste but it was good. I would order it again. The Latte was good, pretty standard.
Wheelchair accessibility: The place might be tight for a wheelchair. The entry is a two-door entry and the doors are not automatic. There are no stairs but not sure there would be space for a wheelchair in every sitting option
