The best meal I've ever had!!!! I mean it fulfills you in a way exceeds the norm. With each bite you'll close your eyes and every bit of your mind, body and soul will smile. Also very filling and my to go container was full. I got 2 whole dinners out of mine. I can't wait for this food again.

This place has gone from bad to worse. Once again cash only. They were taking cash only at one point but then begin taking debit and credit. I was told the fried food is prepared as you order. My chicken’s temperature was as if it was under a light only! Not freshly cooked at all! Macaroni noodles over cooked. Food was just horrible. It used to be good and worth waiting almost an hour. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!! We spent $60 and only ate $25 worth of the terrible meal. The sides are sold separately, where do they do that at. I’m done.

The food is over priced so I never order from there but my man loves the jerk chicken so he orders all the time. Last time he got a shrimp burger on the side and unfortunately I ended up being the one to eat it. Girl. That thing put me in the ER. Literally just got back from bayonne medical after fighting for my life all night and day. That was the only thing I ate yesterday so its the obvious culprit.. Will never eat from there again but my man probably will lol
Food not as good as in the past. Potato salad is runny, yams overly sweet, turkey wing dinner gets you 1 wing. They give smaller portions although the prices are very high. The place inside could use updating. Overall, the food is edible & most items not too bad. The fish is a safe option most days. Staff is very friendly & nice.
Parking: Often, you have to double park, there is no off street parking.

Food was disgusting and the portion size for the amount I paid was disappointing and very sad please don’t waste your money on this food! I try to support black business cause I love us but this isn’t it and should be shut down for this disgusting food! I will just show yall the pics and I should have read the other reviews I wouldn’t have wasted $30 for this meal smh. How does the potato salad look like soup with 3 pieces of potato inside, fish with no seasoning at all, and Mac and cheese was burnt!!! Take that drive and go to Harlem or Brooklyn for some good soul food Jersey City is not it!
