Bread, pastries are absolutely amazing. Went I. Recently and Buyer beware - they started charging a 3% "service charge" when paying by credit card. Pay cash. They also don't seem to accept bills higher than $20. Weird policies. The notice of the 3% "service charge" is in small print on the side where it's easy to ignore, near the cashier. Personally I think it should be in large print right up front. And even before you enter so that people know before they order.

I went on a rainy Saturday on 3/2, and the person behind the counter was by far the kindest service I’ve ever had there. He was super helpful and just made the experience top notch!

Choc O Pain keeps a good selection of French pastries and breads (at a higher cost than usual), it is also very comfortable with suitable seating, free Wi-Fi and outlets located near almost every seat. There's also the ability to view the bakery itself which is a really nice touch providing confidence that pastries and bread items are made on location.Dietary restrictions: If you're on any kind of dietary restrictions, the Choc O Pain menu may pose some challenges as many of the items on the menus are rich in butter and fats.Parking: Choc O Pain is located on the main avenue with very few opportunities to find parking. Better to arrive on foot or public transportation. But if you decide to drive, be ready to consume more of your time or search on the side streets.Wheelchair accessibility: Choc O Pain is located on the street level and although there's a street entrance as well as an interior door, both are able to accommodate wheelchairs and other accessible accessories. The space and facilities inside this establishment are ample and provide access for movement.

I’ve never been one to write reviews, but I felt compelled after receiving food from this place. Way too overpriced for some stale sandwiches and watered down coffee. Wouldn’t recommend coming here, not worth the money at all. I’ve gotten better stuff at a Starbucks or even a Dunkin Donuts. So disappointed.

Very Nice cafe in the heights. Perfect to work from. Always have nice French music playing in the background, sometimes Pop too haha. They’ve got wifi and are open until 5PM on all weekdays. I usually order the Cortado or Macchiato. The baked goods are also pretty amazing. Though I’ve only ordered Pistachio Macarons which are my absolute favorites though a teeny bit pricey and Almond Croissant.

Choco O Pain has the best croissants and breads easily equal to what I have had in France. Don't get me started on their Pear or Pecan tarts... divine. Only disappointment was the Orange cake which had the texture of cornbread and missed out on the je ne sais quoi that their other items were imbued with.

The subbed every item in my order. The weird part is that they called me to ask about alternatives for 2 of the 3 items, but still subbed my salad for a mini pastry, which I don’t think is comparable.I also felt their prices were inflated. I paid $9 for a quiche that was maybe 3 inches.

Learn how to make a freaking cappuccino for crying out loud!! Is not a latte, please teach your staff the difference!! So frustrating having to ask them to make it right and still they don't know what to do. Not rocket science. The rest is great.

94 Cents for a splash of oatmilk? Great employees, great quality and I understand a premium product but charging 94 cents for a splash (1-2 ounces?) of oatmilk seems poorly thought out and out of place for The Heights. I hope they reconsider.

So much goodness here, starting with the "financiers" cookies and other goodness. Certainly an outpost which makes the whole neighborhood better. Need a dessert? Need a coffee? These are your peeps. Your correspondent is sure the breads are fantastic too but has not as yet had the chance to sample them.

I pass this CoP daily during my walk. After seeing the Sour cream coffee cake somewhere online, I decided to stop in and get some. The staff were welcoming and professional. They had already sold out. I was instructed to try placing an online order for the following day and picking it up later that day. I did, but when I went in to pick it up, they were out of the coffee cake. I opted for other items (Madeleines, chouquettes and Chocopains) and wasn't disappointed. Everything was fresh and delicious.
