Amazing and fresh food!!! A staple in my local restaurants and will always come back. Friendly staff is a plus and the experience will make you feel at home.I also had the pleasure of trying their newest addition to the restaurant, which is their smoothie/ juice bar.

Went to this restaurant based on the reviews, but clearly either the reviews aren’t real or the people giving this place 5 stars never had real Caribbean food. The curry chicken was terrible, the chicken was burnt, and the white rice was hard. I’m from Brooklyn and I know good Caribbean food and this isn’t it!

I was in the mood for a good tasting Jamaican curry goat dish. This restaurant delivered the good taste in Jamaican curry, however, I got some good tasting curry goat bones. Careful, the bones are small so if you bite down too hard thinking you are about to chew goat meat, you will break your teeth. Please be careful when you're chewing. If you are looking for goat meat, this is not the place. The owner/manager/server was very polite, very grateful and appreciative for my business.

Im visiting from out of town my son paid a hundred dollars. The food was salty and terrible. Not good at all don't be fooled by false reviews but I wouldn't recommend this place to a homeless shelter if the food was free.Do not order from this place

I just moved to NJ, and I have been unable to find good carribean food. Thankfully, I ordered from here, and I was not disappointed. My order came within 30 minutes, even on a Saturday evening. The food was seasoned perfectly, portions are generous, and the food was HOT!!! Chicken patty crust was soft and flaky. I will definitely order from here again. Thank you.

Authentic Jamaican food. Best food in Jersey City. The Oxtail tastes like my Nana’s oxtail. And the mac and cheese is great. Good prices also.

Best curry chicken I’ve had in a while! And the cabbage was so juicy and tasteful. I go to Njcu so this is a bit out the way but the other Caribbean spot by my school (J***Jerkin) is horrible. The food is extremely dry and golden crust curry chicken is too salty. This place is my new spot in between my classes.

I got the curry goat roti, side of fried dumplings, and side of white rice. The curry was on point and absolutely delicious. The fried dumplings are similar to johnny cake but a little denser. The man who helped me was very kind and efficient getting my order made and out. I would definitely suggest stopping in for the service and roti.

We ordered food the other day, after consuming some of the food we realized the curry goat was not the freshest because of the smell and the taste of the meal. Since the store was closed by time the meal was partially consumed we called the next day to complain and ask for a partial refund back. We asked to confirm with the employee if it was okay for us to come in on the following day to receive this partial refund. We came in to explain the situation to the owner, however he originally refused to provide any refund for the food because we did not have the food with us but we provided a receipt. The owner suggested that we were lying about everything and suggested that the reason why we had a bad reaction to the food was for another reason and proceeded to deny us a partial refund of $30 when the original order was about $60.. After debating because of his refusal, he proceeded to give us a $20 bill and told us not to come back. The food was not worth the price. The food was not the best quality and it didn't taste so good.. His attitude was terrible and customer service was even worse. How were we supposed to give the food back if the store was close? Then what would you even do with the food if it was already have eaten? Will never return as a customer and advise other customers to not eat here.

I don't think anyone should be treated the way I was after I went there today to recieve a partial refund. The Owner was rude and unreasonable. He didn't listen to what I had to say. I spoke with a clerk who advised me that I could bring the receipt in on Saturday to speak with the owner. However the food wasn't good the goat made my stomach upset and the Mac n cheese was dry the only thing that was decent was the yams. Even the corn bread was dry. The sorrel needed more ginger and less sugar. I paid for a large oxtail meal and was presented with mostly bones and sauce. How disappointed I am is an understatement. To top it off he threw twenty dollars at me and told me never to return. He kept saying how do you want me to reimburse you if you don't have the food. Your coworker should have addressed that to me on the phone on Thursday. He kept quiet only because he knew I was right. It's owners like this that make there own establishment drown. I honestly wanted to support this black buisness but this establishment will never see the likes of me again!
