Let me be blunt. This Italian restaurant is not a typical one that blue collared people visit. It's for the sophisticated ones. The food is served in small bowls that you can share. It's a different experience that you can try. Interesting is what I can say! By the way, this is a BYOB place.

The pastas are just as good if not better than the high end Italian restaurants in manhattan

It’s been months since I ate here for my moms birthday but I still dream of the cheese board and all the pastas we got. Our server was excellent- let us know where each cheese was sourced from etc and checked in us without being overbearing. We sat outside which was lovely. I can’t wait to come back!

As always, pasta was great, but service is still rude.

I went 2 times the first time i had the Zozzona, and it was excellent — perfectly cooked pasta, rich and flavorful, and very well balanced. That alone would be reason enough to come back.
the second time i had Rigatoni bianco di napoli , very good
That said, all of the appetizers are really good, great for sharing, and the desserts are just as solid and absolutely worth ordering.

You can tell there’s real care behind the ingredients and the cooking, without overcomplicating things.
A place I’d happily return to, whether for a relaxed dinner or a night out with friends.

Highly recommended.

Solid 4.5 - yes, the dishes are smaller in size but they are all very tasty, most are unique and the prices realistic. Wait staff was knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. Had opportunity to speak with the chef and that cemented our evening. Lemon ricotta cheesecake was superb.

I would give this place 3.5 stars. The food was delicious, and the service was good. However, we were seated at the outside terrace, and the heat was blowing directly at us. That made the whole dining experience uncomfortable. Portion size is small. But the food was delicious, and the place is BYOB.

Charming spot with great neighborhood vibes. Definitely could taste the effort put into the fresh made pastas and the quality of the ingredients. We'd gotten the rigatoni, spaghetti, and chicken. The only issue that my fiance and I had was every dish was oversalted. That mostly drowned out all the other flavors. It was also too salty in multiple ways: the sauce had too much salt to work with the pancetta/guanciale and pecorino, and the pasta itself was oversalted. Bit of a shame because I can see how it could have been a great dining experience, if not for this singular but ultimately overwhelming issue.
