Extremely disappointed. I ordered Chicken Dum Biryani from Deccan Spice through DoorDash and what I received was not biryani at all. It was bland, plain rice mixed with some chicken — no aroma, no spices, no dum flavor, nothing close to what biryani is supposed to be. It looked absolutely nothing like the photos they advertise.
If you’re out of biryani, the honest thing to do is cancel the order, not throw together steamed rice and chicken and call it biryani. This felt misleading and careless. Complete waste of money and I won’t be ordering again

We went as a group of five. Everyone else at the table received their food, and by the time they were almost finished eating, I had to ask about my order — only to be told that it was never even put in.
By the time my food finally arrived, I had lost my appetite and we had to leave. There was no meaningful apology or attempt to make up for the mistake.
Despite the poor service and the fact that my order was forgotten entirely, an automatic 18% service charge was added to a nearly $200 bill. Charging a service fee when the service was this poor was very disappointing.
Food may be fine, but the service and lack of accountability really ruined the experience.
