Desi Adda - Indian Fast Food

This cute little "hole in the wall" is truly a hidden gem! While in reality, it's no hole in the wall at all. You actually feel like you're in a small shop in India when dining-in with the colorful decorations, background music and overall setup of the restaurant. Not to mention the food, which was absolutely amazing! Very tasteful chaat and small dishes, each with it's own little twist. I got:

-masala chai
-mango lassi
-Chinese Frankie (get it on a paratha)
-Chili Cheese Corn Grilled Sandwich
-to top it off, get their Chocolate Pan - it was bomb!

EVERYTHING was 10/10. I loved the food so much, I get went again the next day.

Ask for Ajay or Shubham - very friendly folks who'll take great care of you while there!

The Mango pani puri was amazing

The owner of this place overcharges for stuff not on the menu and is rude to customers. I pad $17.54 for 2 cups of sugarcane juice which I thought was ridiculously overpriced. Also tried their Pani Puri which was okay but not that good. Overall there are better options than this place in the same area for much better price.

One of the best experiences for Pani Puri. You get 6 different flavours of Pani and all of them are brilliant. Khatta Meetha, Pudina, Garlic, Mango, Jaljeera, Guava! The service is just too good. Must visit oif you're craving Pani Puri.

I had a terrible experience with Desi Adda in Jersey City. They canceled my Uber Eats order without any explanation. When I called to inquire about the issue, they rudely hung up on me. This is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to customers. I expected better service and communication. I am very disappointed and will not be ordering from them again!

I would give 0 stars if possible, I come here since it was first open, the owners have were too sweet and welcoming in beginning and now rude and arrogant maybe because their business is doing good now. Since Monday 1st day they were closed before the time mentioned on their web, 2nd day they didn’t answer at 8:30pm whereas they close at 10:30pm! Next day we stepped in it was open! The way the owners treated us was horrible! The wife the blue cap husband both are so arrogant! They do not talk to their employees properly! Even though their taste is good I would never step in this store ever again because they do not know how to respect their customers who have been supporting them since day 1!
