Diesel and Duke in Jersey City offers amazing burgers, fries, shakes, and fried Oreos. The poutine, however, is not recommended. Despite this, it's a great place off the beaten path with delicious smashburgers. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is accommodating. They now offer a lunch special and are open for lunch from Tuesday to Sunday. The Duke Smash burgers are phenomenal, with impressive quality and price. The holypeño burger with an impossible patty is also SO good, with amazing toppings. Cajun fries are delicious and well seasoned. The $12 menu is great, but some customers found the fries overcooked. The staff is polite and courteous.
