This review/rating reflects my experience at this restaurant over the past few years. Prior to 6-12 months ago, dining here was always a solid experience. The food was fresh and tasty. My past two visits are my last, as prices have gone up and quality/quantity has gone down. I completely understand increasing prices in this economy, but coupling that with fish that isn't fresh and smaller amounts of food just leads to disappointment.

DomoDomo never disappoints! The sushi is incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, and the hand rolls are next-level delicious. The atmosphere is sleek yet cozy, and the service is always on point. A standout spot for sushi lovers in Jersey City!

Food was decent but portions small. Other than that, bad experience.
Celebrated a friendâs birthday party. We were seated in the back where there was no heat and their electric heater was broken. They said they would move us to another table, this never happened. Afterwards, we asked them to put another electric heater by us, that also didnât happen/wasnât possible. Management was negligent the entire time, the one positive was our waiter saw that we all had our winter jackets on the entire time and gave us hot water and tea. Thank you kind sir! To management, manage better!
The food quality and set menus they have are really solid for sushi and quite delicious. I feel like it gets a little pricy and thatâs why I reviewed them at a 4 VS 5 stars as I know I can get equally as good of a handroll in the city for a substantial amount less, but overall this is a good staple in Jersey City. The udon and miso cod are also pretty tasty.

The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious!!!!!! Fried cauliflower, fried chickens, sushi, handrolls, garlic fried rice, and their desserts are good!! Server was very nice too (Josue) & Chef Sun!!!! Highly recommended It was nice that they gave me a glass of sake first so I could choose one!

If youâre thinking about going to DOMODOMO, just do it. Went on a casual date night to DOMODOMO last night and absolutely loved it. We did the sushi and hand roll course and were blown away by the flavors and the freshness of the fish. I do think the nigiri are better than the hand rolls but, nonetheless delicious. We also had the Korean fried chicken and bacon garlic fried rice, but the stand out was truly the nigiri. I also enjoyed a lychee martini which was outstanding. All the servers were very attentive and friendly. I look forward to coming back and trying more things off the menu.

I was looking for good, authentic Korean food that went beyond the typical Korean BBQ. A friend recommended DomoDomo to me. My party and I werenât sure what to order, so we followed our server Johannaâs suggestions. She was very knowledgeable and provided impeccable service. It was a truly delightful experience.
