As a fat man and a traveler, I've had pastries from all over the world. And these are as good as Ive had anywhere. And the eggs were cooked perfectly on my sandwich. And no one ever cooks eggs perfectly. 5 Stars!

Dulce de Leche Bakery is a delightful spot for those with a sweet tooth! They specialize in Argentinian pastries and treats, with their namesake dulce de leche taking center stage. Expect rich, creamy flavors in their cakes, alfajores (shortbread cookies), and other delicacies. It's a great place to grab a unique dessert or a special occasion cake.

Dulce de Leche is a charming bakery located in Jersey City Heights (not downtown). They serve a solid latte that holds its own against other coffee options in the area. Their baked goods are outstanding, and their cakes are simply delicious—especially the Argentine cake, which I always order for office celebrations. The prices are surprisingly affordable, making it easy to indulge without breaking the bank.
They take freshness seriously—their juices, for example, are best enjoyed the same day (as if a doctor ordered it!). The breakfast menu is excellent and highly rated. In many ways, this place feels like a Starbucks but better—great breakfast options, incredible cakes, and all at prices comparable to Starbucks. It’s a must-visit spot!

I live in downtown Jersey City and there are not to many bakery that make cakes. Well and good ones anyway. So, I did a Google search asking where to get a good birthday cake in Jersey City and this place had the best reviews. I cannot be happier. I picked up a Dulce leche Chantilly cake. The cake is beautiful, and I have to say I don’t remember the last time I had a cake this good. My boyfriend loved it.
I can wait to go back and try their pastries. This is now my only to go to bakery.

This honestly is my favorite bakery in all of north jersey as they make everything authentically and it all is so delicious. I ordered online and around every other time there’s an issue but they always go out of their way to help me as much as they can.
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is nice. We liked it a lot.

Totally heartbroken! The 3 leche cake is not the same. The lady swares that it's just decorated differently. This new cake inside and out is totally different. Blah !!! Not worth sitting in Tounelle Ave traffic to get there anymore. The little pastry with the blueberries and kiwi is still e collect though.

First time there, cashier told me to wait a moment and as i waited, another employee came to take orders. She did not take my order, did not even acknowledge me trying to place an order. as i walked out, then all of a sudden they wanted to take my order.

DO NOT TRY TO ORDER CUSTOM CAKES FROM THEM. Ive always bought pastries and the premade cakes for years because I loved the taste and quality. I wanted to order a custom cake for my baby shower and it was the biggest mistake ever. We initially reached out a month ago and told them what we were looking for. (Told them for how many people we would need the cake, 45 people.) We were told that we could only place an order for a custom cake 2 weeks in advance through WhatsApp. When the time came, we reached out multiple times and did not receive a response. We called and spoke to a manager who said they saw our message and would get back to us shortly. She finally gets back to us and tells us that they can only make a cake for 25 people. Why were we not told this before??? It is now 2 weeks before my baby shower and I have no cake ordered. I cannot believe this is how they treat their customers for custom orders. I also don’t understand why they can’t make a cake for 50 people, it’s absurd. I’m so saddened by this, given that this has always been my favorite bakery and now I feel like I can never go back there and give them my business again. Please do not ruin your special events by trying to order a custom cake from this clearly mismanaged bakery.
