Reddit was pretty unanimous that this was one of the best cocktail bars in JC. Aligned - vibes were excellent and you have to get the fried cheese sticks or you’re missing out.

I'm a Jersey City local and I recently had drinks for my birthday there with my wife and a friend. I've always loved the mixed drinks they make, they are amazing. But this time I did not appreciate that after consuming at least 7 drinks, two different waitresses kept coming up to us aggressively trying to sell us another round within a span of 5 minutes. After we said no thanks, a third waitress came up with the bill and pretty much threw on the table, we were basically being kicked out. We weren’t being loud or disrespectful to anybody in the restaurant, and on top of that there were plenty of empty tables and a half full bar. The ironic thing is that the waitress that took care of us was so nice, but was the same waitress that threw the bill in our face, and I didn't imagine things, everyone at the table felt the same. I don't think I will be coming back to Dullboy anytime soon.

If this restaurant was a racecar, it would be a sleeper. Don't skip this one. Small venue, great food. I stopped in a few times and have not been disappointed. The atmosphere is great. Food is very good!

Tucked away in the vibrant downtown district of Jersey City, Dullboy has quickly established itself as a must-visit destination for craft cocktail enthusiasts. With its impeccable service, cozy ambiance, and impressive menu of creative libations, this speakeasy-inspired establishment has become a local favorite and a hidden gem worth seeking out.

At the heart of Dullboy's allure is its extensive selection of expertly crafted cocktails. The menu is a masterful blend of classic concoctions and innovative, creative libations that push the boundaries of traditional mixology.

Whether you're in the mood for a perfectly balanced Negroni, a silky-smooth Old Fashioned, or a playful, seasonal specialty, the bartenders at Dullboy demonstrate a remarkable level of skill and attention to detail. Each drink is meticulously prepared, with a keen focus on the interplay of flavors and the visual presentation.

one of the best gems of JC. amazing vibe, feels great inside. the bartenders are great and i always order a very specific drink that no bar ever wanted to make for me, but they were happy to make it and they get it right every single time. friendly bartenders and great food, a bit expensive but i do think it's worth it.

Stopped by for a late lunch and the burger hit the spot. Delicious and filling. The drink "Summer somewhere" was well made. Music was perfect and the staff attentive.

Let me start by saying Ive been going to Dullboy since I moved to Jersey City 4 years ago. So this was far from my first visit.

On Saturday night my partner and I had some cocktails and a couple of burgers at Dullboy. The cocktails were fine tbh, but we were both so incredibly disappointed with the burger. We used to think this was the best smash burger in JC. But we got on Saturday night was so sad and small. Two small little patties that were more the size of sliders. And it has been like this on the last few visits.

The fries were also pretty sad. Could hardly call them curly fries as they did not curl. More like the bottom of the basket fries. Just little "C"s. Crumbs if you will.

If you know the Dullboy burger of old be prepared to be disappointed. I literally left depressed on Saturday night. I'm hoping they can fix the kitchen staff here and go back to the old recipe. The locals know the difference. And we are hella depressed.
