The food here was really good and made fresh to order. They’re very generous with requests; bread, sauces, and water are all complimentary, which is such a nice touch. They even offer complimentary tea, not just for customers but also for food delivery drivers, which really shows their hospitality. Armalindo was especially sweet and helpful, making the experience even better. Prices were very reasonable, and I’d definitely recommend this spot!

Mert took care of us really well. So the service was awesome. Iskender kebap was delicious. Mezes are served in tiny little dishes. So take that into consideration when you order them. Sac kebap was not what it's supposed to be. Food was overall fine except bread. They buy pita bread from a grocery store and warm it up, I guess. We're used to delicious restaurant or bakery baked pide or pita bread and Efes should find a good supplier for that. Efes is bring your own booze and again Mert brought us raki glasses, water and us which was greatly appreciated by our party. We'll return and bring our own bread :))

This olace has been my fav for a few years now. And somehow, I didn't post any review on it?

Their food is fresh and delicious. The best grilled chicken I ever have!
Always marinated to perfection and grilled.
My usual choice is grilled chicken over rice (since it's a brown meat, it's never dry) or
mixed grill platter.
As a starter, I would recommend a combination platter. It will give you a choice of 4/6 cold appetizers with fresh bread and pita.

Sitting is available indoors and outdoors. No reservations needed.

Amd try my fav dessert - Kazandibi! If you like pana cotta - you would love it!

Definitely will be back, the Lamb shish kebab perfectly cooked and tender! 10/10 Babaganoush and mixed eggplant is a must! Service is great too , attentive and quick. Love the outdoor sitting at night.

There's no way I can give an honest review of this place without sounding mean but, the truth is the portions were small, didn't taste all that good, prices were high, table was fast but, the order took - 58 - minutes, when we were the only customers there. I wish I could I could say anything other than this place sucked.

Very good option for Mediterranean food in Jersey City. Ordered Falafel and Chicken & Lamb combo. Food was delicious. Lamb could have been better but overall it was a good meal. Service is also good. Definitely recommended.

Effes was very good resturant, but not it’s completely changed to 0 star. I came with my family ordered 2 plate lamb gyro and 2 plate chicken gyro for my kids. After waiting 30 mins the chicken plates came cold and chicken very dry and taste old. I showed to the waiter and he said it’s cold which is unsafe and dangerous ending up by paying $75. Was really bad experience.

Just moved to JC so wanted to check this spot out. The service was actually brilliant! The guy that helped me out was super fast and very kind. I got the lamb Adana kebab and it was delicious. Definitely recommend stopping by here!!
