Franklin Social is one of our favorite Jersey City hangs, so we knew it would be the perfect location to share with our loved ones for dinner the night before our wedding. The food is always delicious and the cocktails are some of the best around, and the team at Franklin Social delivered their usual high quality menu for our event. The restaurant has so many quaint and cozy options for private events, from the Carriage House to the Junto and even a full buy-out. We had the Carriage House and Courtyard for our dinner, and our guests loved it. We were able to hand craft our menu, choosing from a variety of options and were even able to include our favorite cocktails from the normal cocktail menu. The staff was so attentive, polite, and helpful, and really helped deliver a high-quality meal. Jamie was so great and easy to work with, helping us every step of the way. She was so accommodating and even let us keep some decorations at the restaurant to pick up after our wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience working with the Franklin Social team and it will continue to be one of our favorite restaurants in town!

While visiting my little brother in NJ, I happened upon this lovely bar & restaurant featuring a fun-loving staff of amazing servers, bartenders, and culinary artists.Long story short, I look forward to revisiting Franklin's tomorrow, and/or any time I find myself in NJ.If you live in the area and are not spending your money here, you need to rethink your approach to life and finances.Much love!

This was such a fun place to go to during the Christmas season! I thoroughly enjoyed it. They have cute Christmassy cocktails. I tried the Christmapolitan, and the Short Rib Ragu was outwordly.

Bartender forgot to put in our food order. After seeing others who came in after us get their food, we asked about our order, the bartender asked to be reminded of our order, and said they'd check on it. After another 15ish minutes, our food came out. It was clearly rushed as my braised beef grilled cheese was barely grilled and was mainly just melted oily butter on bread. Other than that, the drinks were amazing and everything else went as it should.

Franklin Social was one of the places that I heard was doing a Christmas pop-up, so I decided to stop by since I was already in the area last night. I went by myself, so I sat at the bar. Even though it was a monday night, it was pretty packed inside. It seems to be popular & it is an intimate restaurant so if you're going with a party 2 or more I would do a reservation. The bar area was a little cramped, especially with all the Christmas decorations and garnishes for the drinks surrounding the area. For my cocktail, I got the marshmallows & and unicorn, which was very tasty and came with a punch. To eat, I ordered the short rib ragu. The short rib was seasoned to perfection. They were generous with the ricotta, which I loved, and it had some pepper flakes on top, which gave it a little kick. I just wish the tomato sauce was a bit richer, but overall, it was amazing. My meal was brought to me immediately, and the bartender cleared my plate really quickly once i was done. I would love to come back outside of their Christmas pop up and try other food and cocktail items.

Great way to celebrate the holidays with friends and family.

The xmas gimmick is fun, sure. The drinks and food do not hold up to the price expectations. Even with 3 bartenders, you are going to wait 30+ minutes for your drinks. FYI - 20% gratuity and 3% transaction fee are automatically added to your check. The service is not comparable to the automatic gratuity (because it is automatic, and you will pay $75-$100/person). Also, I believe cc fees are the cost of doing business.

This was such a cute little pop up Christmas experience. So nicely decorated down to every little detail. The food drinks and service were excellent. They were very busy and we were 20 min late due to traffic but they were very understanding and still seated us right away. Highly recommend!

I came here before, and the quality has gotten way down. The food is much worse, every dish we had was extremely mediocre. The drinks were good but we wanted the special glasses and it turned out you have to pay $18 EXTRA for the glass. They won’t serve it to you in the special glass. No one wants to own a unicorn Santa glass. The ambiance is so fun and decorative. But the food is just really not worth it and the fact that they bait and switch you with the drinks.

Ordered the spicy mussels which were delicious & tried the pasta dish not to impressed the sauce was a little to watery not enough short rib the pasta was good. The decor for the holidays were well done & would recommend you experience the place.
