I ordered 2 masala dosa. This review is more about how this restaurant is charging. I didn't get to see until I came home. I was charged take out fee when I ordered at the store and I picked up. This is what I feel absurd. I wont be going back again or order. I would like to know if this is something that's been done at other restaurants? I have not seen anywhere else.

I went to this place after a very long time. They have renovated a bit since I went last. This is a great dosa/idle place. They have expanded menu too. Food comes out cook. The owner is usually there sitting on side overseeing the operations. Come here for the dosa.

I went at 10 today at night. I ordered Dosa and Idly to go. You would think that after paying that much as a student, they would get the order right. I came home to only one sad-looking, flimsy dosa in a big package. I would suggest everyone check there food after the order or you might get scammed. And takeout is really not that great. Maybe the seating service is good but not the takeout.

Does any body cares about this dosa house ? No professional service or no quality food service despite charging high prices for just lunch Taali $18.50 insane and deliberately missing items in Togo orders so customers never identify their so called tricks to save bloody $ money and by employing Colleage students with out visas or non professional servers to pack and deliver the orders by looting peoples money . This should be stopped by asking city of jersey city to investigate and maintain proper services else no limit for these owners greedy and looting tricks from customers like me!

The food is good, but the people who work here will have a lot of attitude. I have seen over the last nine years that anyone who works here has a lot of attitude. Working people will change, but attitudes will not change.

The food here is amazing. I had the masala dosa, idli, and vada combo. The idli was nice and soft; the vada was crispy and full of flavor; and the dosa was crispy with a rich and spicy filling. The sambar was just lightly sweet, just the way I grew up having it, and the coconut chutney tasted very fresh. The portions are enormous for the cost. Definitely worth a visit!

This is another Indian restaurant (South Indian Restaurant) and especially authentic for South Indian Food in Jersey City, New Jersey. This has another branch in Parsippany area. All the tiffins here are as delicious as the ones in Parsippany. It serves all south Indian dishes like Idli, Medu Vada, many varieties of Dosas, Sambhar, also serves Indian Thali, Mirchi Bajji, Uttappams, Parathas etc.,. Masala Tea is a highlight here. It is almost always crowded. Difficult to get a table during the weekends. Must visit.

As we were tourists we got suggested this place by our friends who live there. I have visited this place with 7 other friends on march 4th and 7th there we have tried almost 8 different types of dosas also we tried thaali’s which were so good and my personal favorite was Bangalore masala dosa which was 10/10. Staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to everybody. Also I will definitely visit again next time when I come to visit Nj. Unfortunately I didn’t took any photos or videos of food to post it here.

I have passed this place and it is busy every time. I have had dosa before but I have to tell my NYer's that if you want good dosa you have to cross the river. Yes it gets busy but the wait time is not long. I was dining alone and shared my table with strangers.

"Sri Ganesh Dosa House delivered a delightful experience last Saturday. The Karam Podi Onion Masala Dosa was satisfying, the Chole Batura and Mysore Bonda were exceptionally tasty. Service was prompt despite the decent crowd. A must-visit for authentic South Indian cuisine enthusiasts!"

It's a self-service. We love the live Sambar counter. It's very tasty. Must try if anyone likes authentic taste. The atmosphere seems to be a bit congested, but overall, it is a good place to have the break fast.

This place is always packed but of course it's because their food is delicious. There is not much of ambiance for this place, you go just for the food and you sit wherever you can find a table. They have a good size menu, and also offers thali option as well (never tried it ) I always go for the dosas, Idli and the samosa chaat. Earlier years the samosa chaat was really good, but I can tell that their recipes had changed over the time. They have a Sambhar station (unlimited refills). If you do order any rava dosa, you should know there will be a 15-20 min wait as it takes time to cook, and if you go later in the day, there are chances they run out of the batter. I would recommend you try it for yourself.
