I rarely leave negative reviews, but my friends and I had an awful experience here. From the moment we arrived, the staff was unfriendly and dismissive, which we tried to overlook. However, the situation escalated when the owner himself approached us and was shockingly rude. His behavior was not only unprofessional but also felt blatantly discriminatory.
As paying customers, we expected basic respect, but instead, we were made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. The atmosphere created by the staff and the owner completely ruined what was supposed to be a fun night out.
If you're looking for a place to enjoy yourself and be treated decently, I would recommend staying far away from this establishment. Disappointing and disheartening experience.

The bar owner discriminates and hires staff who react aggressively if anyone says anything critical about him. We were stopped from playing shuffleboard simply because a puck went off the table – and it only happened once. The owner then sent over a rude waiter who was confrontational and seemed close to getting physical. There are plenty of better bars in the area, and I will definitely never go back to this one.

This spot is a fun neighborhood contemporary bar. It has shuffleboard, darts, and various board games. It is also reliable to show popular sporting events. We haven't tried dinner here, but the appetizers are very good and I believe the happy hour oysters are the best value in Paulus Hook.

Fish and Chips were always good, and I'll be back! Hope to get better service in the future.
Female host/waitress/server should smile a little more. Service was cold and she looked and sounded impatient. Very strange as usually we get pretty good service. The male boss who greeted us was pleasant as always. Overall service is lacking.
Left with a sour taste, however we gave a respectable 24% tips given the bus boys were good and hardworking.

Came here to watch the football playoffs this past season after we attended a festival nearby. Was a really great atmosphere and good drink selection.

I went in on a Saturday evening when it was not very crowded. I was waiting at the front and the host did not show up until another white family showed up even though he saw me before (I did not know he was the host when he first looked at me). I was then seated and waited up to 15 mins at my table and no one showed up to take the order. There were plenty of waiters available and chatting, the family who came after me were served drinks already.
I left without ordering anything and am never coming back to this place.
