Stopped by the Newport location to warm up on a cold windy morning before heading to NYC with family. Ordered 3 items and all were horrible. Simple coffee with cream and Splenda tasted awfully burnt. Wife’s cappuccino was bitter and the slice of coffee crumb cake was hard as a rock. They took my name for order and never said it, as I found one drink at the end of the counter and another drink and the food with the online pick ups. We were also there for apx 30 min and the whole time a homeless person was bathing in the bathroom preventing customers who kept standing in line to actually be able to use it.

The person taking my order not only displayed an intolerable level of arrogance but also managed to get my order completely wrong. It's disheartening to encounter such unprofessionalism in a place that should prioritize customer satisfaction. Management needs to address the attitude problem among their staff if they hope to retain loyal customers. I won't be returning anytime soon.

I always have a pleasant experience when I am at the Newport Jersey City location. The entire staff is friendly and very helpful. I love coming here.
I love the caramel mac. The restaurant is beautiful. I’d rather hangout here than the other cafe nearby. I am definitely trying something else next time.

I ordered coffee and they brought me the wrong one, then I had to pay extra to have mine brought, but in my opinion they just diluted it with water and the coffee was just disgusting. careless service?????

Gregory’s Coffee in Exchange Place has become one of my favorite coffee spots. I am writing this review just for the barista who attended me & helped to order exactly what I wanted ( I wish I would have asked her name). She made heart on coffee as it was coffee date with my husband❤️. The quality of their coffee is exceptional, and their commitment to sustainability is commendable. I particularly enjoyed their mocha. The cozy and inviting atmosphere of the cafe makes it a great place to relax or get some work done. If you’re a coffee enthusiast or just looking for a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee, Gregory’s Coffee in Exchange Place is definitely worth a visit.
