I came to NJ on vacation and decided to stop by with my dad for breakfast. A kind man named Brooks helped us and even gave me a sample of the Hollandaise sauce since I’ve never had it before. All the staff members are super nice and the food came out quickly and hot! The presentation and atmosphere of the whole place was very nice, and I will definitely come here again. They also have gluten free options for those who have dietary restrictions.

The food was not good. My pancakes wouldn’t even soak up the syrup. It was very firm. My mother ordered an à la carte pancake that didn’t arrive until after we finished our meal. The whole meal lacked flavor.

Gussy’s Restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. I can’t say enough about how amazing the staff is, friendly, accommodating, and extremely professional. The food was impeccable and absolutely delicious. I placed a last-minute catering order for same-day delivery, and they went above and beyond to make it happen. Everyone loved the food, and the entire experience was seamless. I highly recommend Gussy’s , an outstanding experience all around.

They have good coffee/beverage options such as their snickerdoodle latte that was so yummy. I ordered an Italian omelette and the peppers were cut nicely and the pieces of sausage were perfectly bite-sized. (Biggest omelette pet peeve is when the ingredients are cut too large). Would also recommend their eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon, beautifully cooked. It is in a way a self service establishment, meaning you go up to order and some refreshments you fill yourself but the staff is so friendly and quick to come in to clean up/retrieve items for you and they bring your meal to you.

Really nice setup, really nice staff but the saddest avocado toast I have had in my life! It was just cut up avocado and more of feta cheese..I am an avocado toast connoisseur and know when it’s a bad one!

I’ve ordered the Cajun Chicken Caesar wrap many times via DoorDash and the last few times I’ve ordered, the quality of the chicken has been very poor. It was inedible and impossible to chew. This wrap used to be delicious but the food quality has definitely worsened and it seems like they don’t take accountability for food sent via courier. I called the restaurant and asked for a refund and haven’t heard back. $20 down the drain. Sadly will no longer be ordering from here.
UPDATE: They reached out to me, apologized, and offered a $25 gift card.
