Awesome kabob in Newport City ! The staff was very friendly and so kind. We got the lamb and beef kabob to go and they offered us some falafel, which was a very nice gesture and honestly it was the best falafel I had in my life ! About the kabob, they were very generous with the rice and the meat was very tasty. We had a very great experience, I highly recommend this place.

Great quality meat with delicate flavors. Tender and farm fresh chicken and beef kebob, lamb chops. Very well flavored lentil soup and fresh falafel. Sauces are great to complement the dishes. Tastes authentic from my experience of the specific region.
Have taken to go 5+ times and food has been consistent. Easy to order online or over the phone for pickup. Expect to park illegally while picking up, but it helps that it's close to Jersey Ave.

Always a must to have lunch at Gypsy Grill when I am in the area. My favorite middle eastern spot to eat at. My go to is the Gypsy Mixed Grill platter with extra in house made garlic sauce. There spinach pies are also to rave about. I wish they can open a spot closer to Bergen County.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Every bite was flavorful and amazing, the kabob was seasoned well and the Koshary is exceptionally good And authentic, later on we got falafel which uncle Shahata made fresh and warm they were the best i had until now, Will definitely come back again. P.s the koshary is only available on weekends

This is an amazing place and we just tried their new dish. The barbecue chicken with fries and rice was amazing. The barbecue chicken had the char grilled smoky flavor to it which added to the flavor. We loved it and will definitely visit it. Their new dish barbecue chicken with rice and fries is a must try.
