Too embarrassing for them to say why

Came here today really quickly every time I come here every time you ask the person that is serving you a question they look like they don’t know what they’re talking about. They have no idea or want answer the questions that you ask. The attitudes are horrible and the drinks could be way better the seating could be way better. It’s just not a great vibe. Sometimes the food is OK.

Don't order any bakery to "toast it" here, because the bakery bag is made of wax, and apparently it's gonna stick over to your bakery as same as other review shown up here.

I asked them replace, to toast it without paper, but they said they can't. So I asked them refund. But the refund was not full price.

By redeeming points, I paid around $4
I believe $5 off for redeeming points.
By refund almond croissant, I think I should get my refund for $4 as cold brew might be free coffee-redeeming award. But I only got partial refund.

I'm really big fan of hidden ground in hoboken, but I don't know why the overall quality is so much worse in Jersey City.

I am very pissed from the experience today. How it’s possible to not have a microwave in the coffee place????? I got their popular rose latte which was extremely sweet, filter coffee, jalapeño & cheddar puff and croissant. She warmed a croissant and a puff in a toaster or griller something, half of the croissant got stuck in the wrapper itself and that puff was super cold from inside. They weren’t warm at all and got pretty hard/stiff to eat. When I told the staff about it, she was like this never happened and also looked like she wasn’t interested to listen. I should have asked my whole order’s refund. It was a bad experience for me & I wish they learn to care nicely for their customers issues.

I’m unsure why everytime I order from this location my drink comes less than half full, the first time this happened I choose to not leave a review thinking it may have been an issue with Uber eats but second time around I believe it’s this location. I did not take a sip out of this drink and for $12 do better?

Ordered an avocado toast, but the avocado was completely unripe and too hard to eat. Very disappointing. I hope the restaurant pays more attention to the ripeness of the avocados.

The most authentic Indian masala chai I’ve tried anywhere in JC/NYC! They brew it the authentic way and it tastes amazing! Also their Bombay sandwich is a must try!

Wonderful coffee, we tried 2 of the speciality cold brews. Has it less sweet and they were perfect . The avocado toast is a taste sensation, I tried with the extra smoked salmon and would definitely recommend that .
Such a cute place with great history in the family business book on the table ?

It’s relaxing and cozy and the Caps are steamed perfectly almost every single time. Sometimes the baristas look too chill almost bored but they make a damn good coffee and are sweet when they want to be ?? and I respect that.

iPad ordering experience when you enter and layout it a bit odd. The cold was exceptional. I only drink black coffee so this coffee impressed me. Salmon bagel was good, the only thing odd was the sliced cheese on it.
