I’ve tried almost every restaurant around Indian Square, and I can confidently say—this place stands out! The food is absolutely fantastic, and the overall experience makes it even better. From the vibrant ambiance to the friendly staff and the welcoming owner, everyone goes out of their way to make you feel at home.
If it’s your first time visiting, I highly recommend starting with their Pav Bhaji or one of the dosas—you won’t be disappointed!

I visited this restaurant yesterday, and it was a very disappointing experience. One of the staff members took our order but made multiple mistakes. The biggest issue was that I ordered dal fry, but she only brought rice-no dal. After 30 minutes, she came back and admitted she had forgotten my order.
The place was also not clean or well-organized. To make things worse, they served food on paper plates, which is surprising for a dine-in restaurant. Overall, the service was slow, unprofessional, and careless. Definitely one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had.

The food was of excellent quality—fresh, flavorful, and truly satisfying.staff was also very friendly and attentive, which made the visit even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving tasty Indian-style pav bhaji and many more veg dishes 😋

I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying one of the best dosas I’ve ever had at a Honest Indian restaurant in Jersey City. The dosa was perfectly crisp, golden brown, and served piping hot. The texture and flavor were just right – not too oily, and every bite was packed with authentic South Indian goodness.
What made the experience even better were the chutneys and sambar. The coconut chutney was cool and creamy with the perfect amount of spice, and the sambar had a rich, savory depth that showed it was freshly prepared with love and traditional ingredients.
The service was also excellent – the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. It really made the whole experience feel welcoming and enjoyable.
The portion size was generous, the plating was clean, and everything was served quickly. I honestly didn’t expect to find such high-quality South Indian food here, but this spot completely exceeded my expectations.
If you’re craving authentic Indian food, this place is a must-visit in Jersey City. I’m already looking forward to going back!

Whoever owns this place needs to keep a check on their staff. I was here for a takeaway order on a Tuesday afternoon which is no rush hour. The guy standing near the billing counter and appears to be incharge, seems to be on a very high horse to come and take your order, showcasing he’s the boss by ordering the others to attend to you while he’s standing right in front of you! Pav bhaji is literally the most ordered dish here, and I’ve personally never seen it take more than 15mins from order to table. The whole staff was having a gala time trying to mock a few others on a break having fun as if it’s a college canteen (which is honestly none of my business!), until 20mins later I see orders of pav bhaji being served to customers who came in after me. The girl who took my order was happily chatting on a break, the boss man (I believe his name was Mridul or Mehul) was acting frantically in shock as if he didn’t know that I had even placed an order. Ultimately took them 35mins to just give me my takeaway order when I had to walk up to the billing counter and stand there for them to identify that my order didn’t even get to the kitchen. The girl who took my order cavalierly put the order on the docket and was enjoying her break, she didn’t seem to be bothered even when questioned by the boss man. While finally giving me the order the person seemed unsure and I asked him to double check if he’s got everything right ... boss man was just trying his best to be non-confrontational so I let it go.. only to realise that they had gotten the order wrong with some items missing when I got home. Will rethink before going to this place again!

I love the food at Honest! Even though it’s a chain, they have constantly managed to keep the flavors and tastes intact across different locations. Their pav bhaji and Chole bhature are my fave! Or the bhakri pizza! All of them so good! Being a Mumbaikar, I love how the pav bhaji takes me back to the Juhu chowpatty street carts! Very yummy and appetizing! I would highly recommend this place to pav bhaji lovers!

Went first time in this location. I think no compare to Edison. Very bad. We ordered pizza for the kids. They bought in like 5 min. Cold and cheese on top. Horrible taste. If they do not know how to make pizza. Why do they keep on menu. Will never go in this location.
