I had a huge expectation from this place. I took my friend for the first time here but the experience was bad. We ordered Masala papad, Dahi puri, Chinese Bhel, Fried rice with Manchurian. The masala papad was okay but not that good. We ordered dahi puri but they bought sev puri. Once we had one bite we understood it's not dahi puri. As we informed the waiter, he rudely took our plates in which we had our food and spoons. Didn't even ask or left it just took it in anger. Fried rice with manchurian was served as normal fried rice barely any veggies and exact 3 manchurians on top. Very bland, no salt. Finally we decided to confront the waiter who misbehaved with us he was very rude and was arguing with us. Never returning to this place again. Overall very bad experienece!

After 6 years, I ordered chole from here again and it completely changed my experience. I’m upgrading my old 1-star review to a full 5 stars. I’ve been enjoying their chole every day for the past week. It’s lighter and less oily, yet still very filling. The cold salad on the side may not be the freshest and pickle, but somehow it gives that extra desi touch that makes the whole plate feel complete.

I had a great meal at this restaurant in the Indian Street in the Jersey City. The restaurant has a pleasant ambience and the table service was prompt and friendly. I tried their Medu Vada and Masala Tea, and they were both delicious. The Vada was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the Masala Tea had a nice, strong flavor with just the right amount of spice. It was a fantastic experience, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for authentic South and North Indian vegetarian food. One drawback is, it's difficult to get parking 🅿️ here on the weekends.

Bahubali sandwich was dry and falling apart. Cheese on too was just salty and no flavor. Chole baturae was just okay. They could serve us better instead of giving us paper plates and be more nice.
