I went there about 4 or 5 times, and the staff tried to over charge me almost every time, and they actually got me for at least 2 times. I’m not the only one, as I often heard customers around me arguing with them as well; but I bet more customers just never notice to didn’t bother to check the details.On their menu (in 2024), the “signature” costs $13.99, and the “customized” costs more (something like $14.99). When you think you’ve asked for a “signature”, but if you asked for any topping (even just 1 veggie topping like corn), your order becomes a “customized”, and they bill you more! Most people assume those toppings are free because that’s the normal among other restaurants, but not here.The food here is not impressive. It’s very salty. I know extra marinade can cover the unfreshness of the fish, so it alerts me.Anyway, I’m sure today would be the last time I visit this restaurant.

I’m actually born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, I grew up eating poke bowls, and kalua pig rice bowls. The ahi poke bowl I ordered here was too salty. The perfect combo of an authentic poke bowl from Honolulu is the exact precision of sesame oil and soy sauce blended together. The kalua pig bowl here was offensive. What makes kalua pig very special to Hawaii is how tender the meat is and originally Hawaiians hunt a pig and then will dig an underground smoker oven and slow cook the pork for a day or two. The kalua pig here was hard and crispy to chew, with weird hoisin sauce on top. I hated it as a local born and bred girl from Honolulu Hawaii.

I wanted to find a pace that had a good healthy options after a great spin class. I had walked passed total a few times and decided to give it a try as I wanted something light on my walk back home. I walked in and only one person working and not busy on an early Sunday afternoon. I ordered the pb&j with some chocolate protein and it was amazing. The taste of it was great and the portion was suitable as well. As someone who is trying to be more intentional with eating choices and having more protein, this hit the spot. They seem to have other great options as well that I wil definitely try out another time!

What. A gem of a poke shop by grove station. I am so happy to finally find a decent poke place in Jersey city. Ingredients were fresh and servings were large. The staff are very friendly, but it does get busy around lunch time. There is some seating but I did takeaway. They have options for everyone from vegan to raw fish to cooked rice dishes. Also there were smoothies too. Whenever I get a poke craving I'm going to be going back here.

This place is a MUST if you’re looking for an amazing lunch in Jersey City. The flavors are incredible and there is no shortage of toppings for your poke! And on top of that, you get unlimited toppings. What more could you want from a poke shop?!? The fish was super fresh! Also the PB&J smoothie hit the spot ??????Highly recommend.

I tried out this poke shop today and was not disappointed! They were super knowledgeable and easy to recommend a bowl (while aware of my sesame seed food allergy which is not easy in a poke shop!).
