We have spent several evenings and brunches at Hudson Hound, we love it! Jason and his team are nothing short of experts in the client experience. We also have hosted 2 parties there, one was a child's birthday party and the other was a Saturday evening adult birthday party. Both were executed flawlessly leaving our guests with a wonderful experience and memories! I can't recommend them highly enough. Jen, their event coordinator, was not only extremely attentive to our requests and inquiries but a great partner planning both events!

I recently organized a retirement party for a colleague with only a week’s notice, and Hudson Hound was fantastic in accommodating us. A big thank you to Jen, who was exceptional in helping us select the perfect menu and ensuring we had enough space for our guests. The service was outstanding—everyone was attentive and friendly, making sure our evening went smoothly.Hudson Hound offers the perfect ambiance for both casual drinks and hosting events. Couldn’t be more enthusiastic about how great this bar has been since opening, their Harry Potter trivia has been amazing and completely disagree with the below 1 start review about the same evening. From my experience the duo who did all of the complaining were rude, obnoxious and from what I could see only came to complain. They didn’t eat, they didn’t drink, they just gave out. Hudson hound is a really wonderful addition to the neighborhood of jersey city and reviews like that really go against then ethos of constructive criticism

Arguable one of the saddest hospitality experiences. We called the evening before enquiring about their trivia night, we were told to just show up. We get there and then it we were told what do you mean u didn’t make a reservation? What do you mean we never said to make a reservation? We are full, yada yada yada. Only to FINALLY get a corner table, no there where no spots to put our stuff down, nothing. But of course the manager’s relatives were taking we the biggest table in the room.I dont often leave reviews like this, bcuz I understand how tough it is in the business. But this place was definitely a 0/100 for me.

On a recent Friday evening, I visited this place for a refreshing beer and some snacks, and I must say, it was a great experience from start to finish. The outdoor seating area was good which was made even more appealing by the exceptionally good weather that day. I opted for a simple beer and some tater tots and I was pleased to find that both exceeded my expectations. The beer was perfectly chilled while the tater tots were fresh. It was the ideal spot for a relaxing evening out. Whether you're looking to catch up with friends or simply enjoy a drink solo, I recommend this place for your next outing.

I have been here to have St. Patricks Day dining. Corn beef could have been better, and the irish curry was not bad. But the atmosphere and vibe were awesome!
Our fav neighborhood bar/American food spot in JC. Irish curry, Hudson burger, are great. We are regulars when it's warm weather. Love the open seating. Good service. Even great as take out.

Hudson hound was a great start to the night with drinks that are unique in their ingredients and flawlessly executed. The food was very delicious and at a reasonable price. The service was decent and we enjoyed the decor of the restaurant. We will be coming back soon!
Always love Hudson hound. As an Englishman living abroad, I love I can get a good Sunday roast as well as English snacks to take home. Would recommend this palace everyday of the week and twice on Sundays to anyone that asks.

We came here for trivia night. Ordered some food but nothing was good. The bread was especially disappointing. It was dense and dry I wish we didn't get a whole loaf to share bc no one liked it. The trivia questions were fun but it just took way too long for them to grade each round and they also started late. We didn't stay til the end bc we didn't know how much longer we had to wait for them to grade the answers. Would not come back again

Loved the cozy little pub feel on a chilly night. Our group of 8 was seated immediately upon arrival for our reservation. The waiter was extremely attentive, friendly and on the ball. Dry rub wings and the sticky toffee pudding were a bit hit with our whole group. The main meals had healthy portion sizes. Great food and vibe all around.
