The food is amazing. The customer service is not up to par in my opinion. No warm welcome no smiles nothing. And the restaurant itself could use some upgrading. Bring more life to it!!!! If these things could be fixed and upgraded 5 stars. Cause the food hands down is good!

I just came from the truck I had the worse Jamaican food ever I’m really upset about it I order a oxtail roti it came in a box with 4 oxtails and mad oil and the roti bread was like rubber I threw it away in front of them and request my money back but the refuse saying the boss not going to let them nasty people with nasty food

I just went to get food at the truck worse Jamaican food I had in my life I’m not exaggerating either I got a oxtail roti they gave me the nastiest roti bread with a box with only 4 oxtails in it and mad oil I threw it away immediately infront of them and request a refund they rudely told me no ! You come here for takeout/delivery food, not the atmosphere. It’s not a date spot, however, the takeout would delight any date you might have for certain. The jerk chicken, plantains, rice and peas are excellent and the homemade ginger beer is a real plus. Ignore the ambiance, embrace the food! Bonus: If you have an event, you can call ahead to order large sizes of everything.

Terrible customer service from the GIRL at the register! This is my 2nd time going in person, and the 1st time she rolled her eyes, and gave a stink for NO REASON, mind me, I’m a young professional who reads the room really well, and I love Jamaican cuisine. The 2nd time she was giving me dirty looks for simply asking a question.

— Go to the other Jamaican restaurant near 440, they’re top notch, and they won’t give you 3 pieces of oxtail for a 22$ meal.

Is it because I’m allegedly gentrifying her neighborhood?? My family and I won’t be eating here on principle! Disgrace!

Loved this place until I saw baby roaches crawling on the counter. Please be careful. When I mentioned it, they acted oblivious and then proceeded to clean the counter. Too late

I was greeted and treated politely. The service was professional and my order didn’t take long to be made. The food is amazing I give it a big thumbs up 👍

Honestly disappointed in this place. I recently ordered an oxtail meal and for $25 the fact that we only receive 4 small pieces of oxtail is blasphemous. The plate is packed with cabbage and rice and a few small pieces of oxtail. Why would I pay that much for rice and cabbage. We also asked for a side of pepper sauce and they gave us less than 1/8th of the container with it. Fully disappointed but hope that I can try it again with a better serving portion worth my money because the food is actually decent.

Simply awful. Ordered from them via UberEats and I WISH that I had looked at the google reviews first. They COMPLETELY ignored my order details, their portions do not match their prices, and the pictures they used on the app were misleading. I will never order from this establishment again.
