Horrible experience. I placed and paid for an online pickup order, and when I arrived the door was locked—even though the store doesn’t close until 8pm and my order was marked “ready for pickup” at 7:05pm. I tried showing my confirmation through the door, but the employee was extremely rude and simply told me they were closed and to “come back tomorrow.” When I asked for a refund, he just said “later,” without asking for my name, order number, or any details. I walked away with no food, no refund, and no accountability.

What makes this even more disappointing is that I was intentionally trying to support a local small business. I had planned to use this order for my weekly meal prep and to treat myself, but instead I was left frustrated and ignored. Completely unacceptable and a terrible customer service experience.

Worst jerk chicken iv had in my life hands down , & I never leave reviews. It taste like old jerk chicken they just heat up & send out and think people won’t catch on. Chicken has 0 flavor and I’m commenting because this is the second time Iv made the mistake of ordering from here and it’s the same tasteless reheated chicken.

The food is amazing. The customer service is not up to par in my opinion. No warm welcome no smiles nothing. And the restaurant itself could use some upgrading. Bring more life to it!!!! If these things could be fixed and upgraded 5 stars. Cause the food hands down is good!

I just came from the truck I had the worse Jamaican food ever I’m really upset about it I order a oxtail roti it came in a box with 4 oxtails and mad oil and the roti bread was like rubber I threw it away in front of them and request my money back but the refuse saying the boss not going to let them nasty people with nasty food

You come here for takeout/delivery food, not the atmosphere. It’s not a date spot, however, the takeout would delight any date you might have for certain. The jerk chicken, plantains, rice and peas are excellent and the homemade ginger beer is a real plus. Ignore the ambiance, embrace the food! Bonus: If you have an event, you can call ahead to order large sizes of everything.

Terrible customer service from the GIRL at the register! This is my 2nd time going in person, and the 1st time she rolled her eyes, and gave a stink for NO REASON, mind me, I’m a young professional who reads the room really well, and I love Jamaican cuisine. The 2nd time she was giving me dirty looks for simply asking a question.

— Go to the other Jamaican restaurant near 440, they’re top notch, and they won’t give you 3 pieces of oxtail for a 22$ meal.

Is it because I’m allegedly gentrifying her neighborhood?? My family and I won’t be eating here on principle! Disgrace!
