Terrible customer service from the GIRL at the register! This is my 2nd time going in person, and the 1st time she rolled her eyes, and gave a stink for NO REASON, mind me, I’m a young professional who reads the room really well, and I love Jamaican cuisine. The 2nd time she was giving me dirty looks for simply asking a question.

— Go to the other Jamaican restaurant near 440, they’re top notch, and they won’t give you 3 pieces of oxtail for a 22$ meal.

Is it because I’m allegedly gentrifying her neighborhood?? My family and I won’t be eating here on principle! Disgrace!

Loved this place until I saw baby roaches crawling on the counter. Please be careful. When I mentioned it, they acted oblivious and then proceeded to clean the counter. Too late

I was greeted and treated politely. The service was professional and my order didn’t take long to be made. The food is amazing I give it a big thumbs up 👍

Honestly disappointed in this place. I recently ordered an oxtail meal and for $25 the fact that we only receive 4 small pieces of oxtail is blasphemous. The plate is packed with cabbage and rice and a few small pieces of oxtail. Why would I pay that much for rice and cabbage. We also asked for a side of pepper sauce and they gave us less than 1/8th of the container with it. Fully disappointed but hope that I can try it again with a better serving portion worth my money because the food is actually decent.

Staff was very nice, quick and very friendly.

Simply awful. Ordered from them via UberEats and I WISH that I had looked at the google reviews first. They COMPLETELY ignored my order details, their portions do not match their prices, and the pictures they used on the app were misleading. I will never order from this establishment again.

Just leaving this place. The food is HORRIBLE!! The food has no taste at all. The rice was over cooked and the peas were hard! What a waste of 16.00.. NEVER AGAIN!

I wish I could give this place negative review because they charged my card TWICE FOR $40 and keep in mind this is for an oxtail meal which had 2 small pieces of oxtail. Everyone hated me and my girlfriend in there. It had the worst vibes and the place is super run down. DONT GO HERE!

I went home and discovered my $22 meal box had only 4 small pieces of oxtail in it. And the staff member was not the mother or daughter of business it was a random weird looking lady I never seen before. And when I called the store back at 7:37pm on July 11th she had an attitude and I gave her one right back because she lied saying she put “extra meat”. I asked her why she is lying because I’m currently looking inside the meal box and as a loyal repeat customer, I NEVER got shortened like that before. She continued to argue with me but when I started yelling getting angry, she finally apologized. I abruptly hung the phone up. WHY IS YOUR STAFF ARGUING WITH A CUSTOMER? THIS “LADY” IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL & NEXT TIME I WILL BE CHECKING MY FOOD WHILE IN STORE & DEMANDING A REFUND IF THIS EVER HAPPENS AGAIN. YOU GOT THE RIGHT ONE

Food was delicious. Had the jerk chicken with cabbage.

Ordered curry chicken and roti via ubereats delivery. 5 stars for piping hot freshness. 5 stars for having a good flavor. 5 stars for a really soft and perfect Dahl puri. 1 star for the shards of bone fragments found throughout my food. Caribbeans cook meat on the bone, I get it. But shards of jagged dangerous bits of bone in food is not enjoyable! Train your cook. Have them cook the meat on the bone properly. If you must chop up the chicken, know how to cut it with customer safety in mind. So ridiculous. My photo shows all the pieces of bone found in my dish.
