I don’t have enough good words to say about Jay and his business! The fish is phenomenal, the quality is truly top notch. I’ve been going to Jersey City Fish Stand for years and have never been disappointed with anything I’ve bought - everything from their salmon to scallops to tuna, everything is delicious and you can taste the freshness and quality. Over the years I’ve gotten salmon from other places like Scale and Whole Foods but the quality doesn’t even come close...
The best salmon burgers I’ve ever had! We’ve been going here since January 2023 and make trips as often as we can to Jersey City just for the fresh fish, oysters, and salmon burgers.

I took a Lyft to get there from Jersey City, the driver dropped me off one block too far.
Anyway, i bought close to 2 Ibs of Salmon steak, i bake it with my own mixed slices, it is very fresh and was so delicious, the salmon was juicy and smooth after baking for 20 mins at 350F. It is full of flavour. Salmon steak tends to get flaky and dry when baked. This is different and it is so good. My family really enjoyed it.
The owner is friendly and helpful.
